Atheists Volunteer FOOD DISTRIBUTION! Come help and give out food!

[Atheists United](www.atheistsunited.org), California's largest grassroots atheist nonprofit, is fighting the emergency food crisis with our partners [Sunday Assembly Los Angeles](www.sundayassemblyla.com) by hosting a food distribution in Los Angeles outside our offices. We've partnered with the LA Food Bank and give out over 3,000lbs of food each event. **We need volunteers to help us assemble and organize food packages from 12pm - 5pm every third Friday.** From 3:30pm - 5pm volunteers will help hand food out directly to those in need in the neighborhood. From 5pm - 6pm we'll clean up and celebrate everything we accomplished together. Music and snacks will make it well worth your time. AU Food Distribution -- Volunteers Needed!

## Details [Atheists United](http://www.atheistsunited.org/), California's largest grassroots atheist nonprofit, hosts a food distribution in Los Angeles every month at our office building. We've partnered with the LA Food Bank and Sunday Assembly Los Angeles to give out over 4,000lbs of food each event. **We need volunteers to help us unload, sort, assemble, and give away grocery kits from 12pm - 5pm.** From 12pm - 3:30 we unload the truck, sort the food, and build the grocery kits. From 3:30pm - 5pm volunteers will help hand food out directly to those in need in the neighborhood. From 5pm - 6pm we'll clean up and celebrate everything we accomplished together at a local restaurant. Free snacks and drinks provided for all volunteers. If you'd like to be a super volunteer, contact us about showing up at 10am to help with early setup! **Food:** Snacks will be provided free for volunteers. We also usually buy lunch for everyone. After the event volunteers usually gather at a local restaurant to debrief. **Safety:** Safety vests, gloves, and masks are available for all volunteers. In Person: The Art of Rest- Restorative Yoga Flow with Chel

Join me for a restorative yoga flow. Using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each pose is fully supported so the body can release tension without effort. Postures are held for extended periods, allowing the nervous system to slow down and shift into a state of rest and restoration. Don't miss out on some much needed zen. This inclusive class allows you to calm the mind and focus on the strength of your breath and body, moving from an opening meditation and warm up, building into a flow and deeper into specific asanas completing with total relaxation. Great class for all levels from beginner to advanced. Teacher Bio: Kirstin H.S. completed her 200 hour YTT in Ubud,Bali with Zuna Yoga in 2019. She loves providing space to practitioners to take time for themselves and just simply breathe. Through “flow” yoga, Kirstin hopes to give a small reprieve to the anxious and stressful world we live in. Kirstin has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has learned the importance of yoga in cultivating balance, strength, and overall well-being. She loves sharing her knowledge and practice with others, especially those who are new to yoga. Kirstin loves teaching the Heal One World community and empowering her students to achieve their own greatness. Janet’s yoga classes offer a safe space for you to connect with your inner self, release stagnant energy from your body and breathe a little deeper. Janet began practicing yoga in 2003 and is grateful for her practice due to its physical and mental benefits, as well as the joy it brings to her life. **Class Description:** Whether you are new to yoga, familiar with the practice, or experienced, this yoga class will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility.
