This is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life, get outdoors, connect with others and experience the simple joy of making music together. You don’t need to know how to drum, have any musical experience or even own a drum. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or picking up a drum for the very first time, you’re welcome here. We’ll gather, settle into the space and let the rhythms unfold naturally. There’ll be room to explore, listen, play, laugh and connect + without pressure to perform or get anything right. Sometimes it’s good to slow down and simply be part of something together. What to expect A welcoming, inclusive community gathering Group drumming and spontaneous rhythms Time to connect with nature and one another A relaxed, no-pressure space for beginners and experienced drummers alike You’ll also be guided through a drum journey, where you can relax, listen and receive the rhythms as I play. Afterwards, we’ll come together to drum, connect and share in the experience. Perhaps you have a drum sitting at home that you’ve never quite known what to do with, or you’ve felt the pull to buy or make one but haven’t yet taken that first step. Maybe your drum has been collecting dust, waiting for you to pick it up. This is your invitation to reconnect with that pull, explore your own rhythm and discover the simple joy of drumming together. 🥁🌿 What to bring 🥁 Bring your own drum or percussion instrument if you have one. A few extra drums will be available to share, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own. 🧺 Something comfortable to sit on 💧 Water and weather-appropriate clothing 🌿 An open mind and a willingness to join in, listen or simply enjoy the rhythm. Community Conversations: Creating Prosperity for Posterity

What if prosperity was measured not only by what we gain, but by what we leave behind? We often think of prosperity as success, security or material wellbeing. But what gives life a deeper sense of fulfilment, and how might our understanding of prosperity change when we consider its impact beyond ourselves? Through stories and shared conversation, this evening will explore ideas such as contentment, sacrifice and legacy, inviting us to consider what it means to live well today while contributing meaningfully to those who come after us. Community Conversations provides an inclusive space where people from all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome. Each session includes a short presentation, followed by shared group consultation, where we can explore the theme together, along with time to connect, socialise, and enjoy light refreshments.
