Welcome to our community of positive, honest, kind, respectful, caring, good-hearted, responsible, and emotionally mature neighbors helping each other live peaceful lives filled with joy, happiness, and financial peace of mind. Our Mission & Focus We focus specifically on mutual aid for DIY projects. We pool our resources, knowledge, and skills to help each other with car repairs, home repairs, remodeling, and various everyday repair projects so we can all save money and learn new skills together. Participation & Workspace Requirements Because our events take place on members' private residential properties, active membership is strictly limited to verified local residents with permanent, stable housing (homeowners or leaseholders) who have a private driveway, garage, or dedicated residential workspace to host or contribute to projects. Environment & Behavioral Standards To maintain a safe, healthy environment for everyone, our community is strictly substance-free. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against smoking, vaping, cannabis, alcohol, or illicit substance use. We also practice respectful communication, meaning all group events and digital spaces are strictly profanity-free and drama-free.

Join AWS Builders LA for an evening exploring how AWS and AI are enabling new possibilities, from AWS-powered solutions to community-built applications created by independent builders. Hey Everyone 👋 If you missed my last event, then you don't want to miss out on this! Come join me on **Friday, August 14th** for a relaxed and fun evening at **Sunset Sessions \| Live Music & Libations in Old Town Pasadena**. We’ll **meet up at 6 PM** to grab a spot together and settle in before the music starts. **Note:** I won’t be able to reserve or hold seats, so please plan to arrive early if you’d like a good table or spot, as it can fill up quickly. The **live performance runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM**, giving us a couple of hours to enjoy the music, catch up, and unwind together. Bring your own food and we can have a potluck picnic while enjoying the music. Atheists Volunteer! West LA Highway 405 Cleanup 🦺🧹

Atheists United supports the community by sponsoring bi-weekly highway cleanups in partnership with CalTrans Adopt-A-Highway Program. We serve two locations, the 2 freeway in Glendale and the 405 highway in West Los Angeles. Please help keep Los Angeles clean. NEW LOCATION: We'll meet at Stoner Park on Westgate Ave (between Missouri Ave and Nebraska) see map. Look for a red Toyota 4Runner SUV (call Steve, the organizer, if you can't find the group 310-686-8862). After everyone parks we'll drive/carpool to the stretch of freeway on the 405 freeway between National and Santa Monica Blvd. What to wear: Sturdy shoes, long pants, a hat, and sunscreen. Dress in layers because it can start out cold and warm up during the morning. We'll provide bags, gloves and grabbers so you won't have to bend over to pick up trash. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Lunch/Dinner or Refreshments: We'll pick a place for refreshments after the cleanup. How long: The highway clean up will take about 2 hours plus optional get together for refreshments afterwards. RSVP: Please remember to change your RSVP to "no" if you can't make it. This is common courtesy. Also especially important if you are the only other volunteer signed up, because we can't do the cleanup with only one person.
