Hi everyone!! 💖 This is now our EIGHTH book club meetup! I can’t wait to get to know you all more, hang out and talk books. For this meeting we’ll be FINISHING Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross!!! Please read the WHOLE book before coming so that we have lots to discuss! The location MIGHT change. There is a new book bar that opened up in Toronto and I’d love to see if we can get a spot there. TOPE's 1st Shin Nimokukai

Welp, this is only happening on August 13th and October 8th as Shin-Ni-Moku-Kai is Neo 2nd Thursday Meeting, and after these two dates, this will be our permanent pub night meetup going forward for Shin-Ichi-Moku-Kai next year. It has been confirmed that the new pub meetup is Torishi - Japanese Yakitori Izakaya, this will be called Shin Ichi/Ni Mokukai as previous organization CJS Canada Japan Society of Toronto used to hold back in late 2000's and 2010's decade in Manpuku Japanese Restaurant as Ichimokukai or Nimokukai. Its meaning is "First Thursday Meeting" and "Second Thursday Meeting". It's been 6 years since we had Ichimokukai or Nimokukai, and now the cycle of Shin-Ichi-Moku-Kai/Shin-Ni-Moku-Kai only happens on the First or Second Thursday of these months 2月 - February, 4月 - April, 6月 - June, 8月 - August, 10月 - October, 12月 - December (Shin Bounenkai) On Topic: Japanese culture, entertainment, interests, etc... but can be any topics outside of it. 7PM: Arrival and Introduction 8PM: Same as above 9PM-9:30PM: Raffle Prizes and Tickets Announcement 10PM: The End
