The power of observation underpins the art of great street photography. Learning to ‘see’ interesting detail is a practiced skill and we introduce you to easy methods that will open your photographer’s eye and expose you to a world that is alive with detail. Sun, Jul 26, 2:00 AMHi there! Welcome to the Southside Music Collective - hosted at Cricle Music, Botany. This is a jam that is open to beginner and intermediate players and we welcome all instruments, musical genre's and skill levels. All you need is a keenness to learn and an open mind for all things musical. Our goal is to help get you out of the bedroom and onto the stage. We can help you achieve this goal by working as a team. You will be being guided by professional musicians with years of live music experience, touring and teaching. This is also this is a great environment to meet fellow musicians and talk all things music. Moving on from what the more casual format of Sydney Jammers, we want to focus a smaller song list but with an end goal of having a tighter sounding unit. From there we would be booking a showcase style gigs at least twice a year. With regards to equipment, we provide a drum kit, P.A system, mics and a bass amp. We do have a few small guitar amps available, however we recommend you bring your own practice amp. Feel at home. This tour will introduce you to Australian and international artists working in painting, photography and sculpture - covering a range of subjects. Listen to fascinating stories. Introduce yourself to each other, make new friends, interact with gallery staff, and have fun! **MEETING TIME:** 12:00 Noon – 12:10 PM. **MEETING POINT:** Outside “Bar Latte”, 29/235 New South Head Road, Edgecliff NSW 2027. The café is right next to Edgecliff Station entry/exit on New South Head Road. You are welcome to buy a coffee. **START AND PROGRAMME:** We will begin at 12.10 PM at Edgecliff Station and move towards Paddington.
