**Join us for Luludi Living Art’s Spring Plant Swap, a free community event for plant lovers of all kinds.** Bring 1–3 healthy plants, rooted cuttings, plant babies, or small pots to exchange and take home the same number. It’s a fun and easy way to refresh your collection, share with others, and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts in the community. Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting your collection, all are welcome. Please bring only healthy plants and label them if possible so everyone can swap with confidence. Reception–Rooted in San Francisco Exhibition

SFPL presents the opening reception for the Rooted in San Francisco: 10 Years of the Legacy Business Program Exhibit, celebrating a decade of San Francisco’s Legacy Business Program and the longstanding small businesses that help shape the city’s cultural identity and neighborhood life. The exhibition highlights a selection of San Francisco Legacy Businesses through historic photographs, signage, storytelling and archival materials that reflect the creativity, resilience and community connections built across generations. From neighborhood institutions to family-run storefronts, the featured businesses represent the people and places that continue to define San Francisco’s commercial corridors. Presented in partnership with the City and County of San Francisco’s Office of Small Business and the Legacy Business Program, the exhibition also explores the importance of preservation, continuity and local economic culture in a rapidly changing city. **Takes place in the Art, Music & Recreation Center Exhibit Space - 4th Floor**

## Pain of Örnithology \| June 13 at 1pm The "Pain of Ornithology" is a deeply personal, genre-blending project. Haroon Tahir's music explores complex themes of grief, human connection, and introspection. The instrumentation seamlessly blends elements of modern folk, indie, and contemporary chamber music, with the violin adding a sweeping, emotional texture to his acoustic and vocal arrangements.

We start with 2 minute warm ups, with each set of poses getting a little longer. We usually finish the evening with 20 minute poses. The gallery will provide chairs and tables. Easels on request. Bring your own paper, pencils, pens, etc. Snacks and water will be served. Please register in advance.

Sunday Figure Salon

### Join Our Figure Drawing Class! Explore Short Pose and Gesture Drawing You're invited to a figure drawing class on Sunday, May 31! This session will focus on short pose figure drawing, beginning with quick 2-minute poses and gradually working up to 20-minute poses. We'll emphasize gesture drawing, making it a great chance to loosen up your sketching skills and capture dynamic movement. The class is open to all levels, including beginners—everyone is welcome! Please note that participants must be 18 or older to attend. Charcoals, paper, and drawing boards will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite materials if you'd like. More dates will be announced soon, so stay tuned! We encourage you to register in advance to secure your spot.

SF Columbarium!

The SF Columbarium funeral home is a special place where remains are stored. This area was originally a cemetery and over the years the houses and businesses have closed in on the property. The central dome is an amazing collection of stained glass, tiled Flores and four levels of interesting art and niches. The outside is a gorgeous building . We will meet at the office at 10 am. Show and tell outside. Please do not sit on the monuments or put anything on them. No open water inside the dome. Eileen 415-305-0802
