**Welcome to [The Canis Pack MOAI 10K Adventure] + Purpose, Friendship, Togetherness & Support!** **SNIFF - EXPLORE - EXERCISE** [**THIS IS A WALK FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE DOGS - AND FOR THOSE WHO DO**] **AGENDA;** **\- Gathering at 5:45 \- 1485 Virginia Rd\. Lacy Park** **\- Leaving at 6:00 pm Promptly** **\- Bathroom Break as we head out** **\- Continue with the Inner and Outer Loop walk** **\- After the Loops\, then exploring the surrounding San Marino neighborhood\.** **\- This will be a 10K Walk – About 6\.2\-5 miles** **\- 2 Hours or so Walk** **\- 8:00 pm \- Returning to Lacy Park** **WHAT TO BRING;** **\- Water** **\- A Warm Jacket for Chilly Nights** **\- Flash Lite** **\- Bug Spray** **\- Snacks if needed** **\- Good walking shoes** **\- Comfortable walking clothes** **\- A bright Jacket for the Dark days** **LISTEN, THERE'S MORE;** **Goal: A STRONG LIKE-MINDED TOGETHERNESS!** \* We will Establish Togethereness \* We will Bring about a Strong Awareness \* We will Establish a Strong National Presence \* We will Be Active and Responsible \* We will Always Think as a Like-Minded Group \* We will Put our Health and Wellbeing First \* We are a Pack-Family **\* We will Gather and Walk with Harmony** I know—10,000 steps might not sound like a lot, but for those of us who sit at desks or stand in one place all day, it's not always easy to hit that goal. And while 15,000 or 20,000 steps would be great, they also require more time. So to make it fun and manageable, we’re starting with 10k steps as a challenge—and we may increase the goal in future events. **THE IMPORTANT POINTS ARE THESE;** Space is limited, so **please RSVP only if you’re 100% sure you’ll attend.** 🙏🏾If you RSVP and don’t show, you will be 🚩Red Flagged 🚩for future events—we all appreciate reliability and respect for others' abilities to get a spot to walk!🙏🏾 Expect to hit somewhere between **10,000–12,000 steps (approximately 7.5-9 miles),** depending on the pace and group. This **midweek walking event** is going really well. So, let’s **stay active together** and **make this a Strong part of our routine. See You There** [COMMENT BELOW IF YOU ARE IN AGREEMENT] **NOW IS THE TIME, LET’S GET TO WALKING** Btw. Yes, Lacy Park allows dogs. However, they must be on a leash and it will be your own responsibility. No running involved. Just a casual, social walk. Bring water if you need it. **Free street parking is available in the surrounding areas. Please avoid parking inside the park lot, as the gates may close before we finish our walk.** **Park closes at dusk so I strongly advise against parking inside any of the lots. Just drive around, and you can easily find free open parking spaces.** **Lacy Park is located at 1485 Virginia Road, San Marino, CA 91108**

We frame ourselves as **"a support group for the technological singularity"** and we are an eclectic mix of open-minded thinkers, artists, and tinkerers who believe in embracing the emerging technologies and capabilities in the most humanitarian way possible. Our meetings have a super casual and open atmosphere where all are welcome to contribute. Feel free to come late or leave early. So whether you're an AI enthusiast or skeptic, a creative professional already using AI on the daily, or someone just starting their first vibe coding project, this group may be for you! **What to Expect** Interesting conversations, relevant content, and educational resources. We are a diverse community of people who want to help each other and the world around us. We meet in person once a week at **310 Coffee in Culver City from 3-5pm**, we share our work and interesting news in our Whatsapp group, put on remote Learning Labs, go to events together, and encourage our members (who have the availability) to participate in a learning collective where we can volunteer to give each other one-on-one crash courses in various artistic, technical, and entrepreneurial disciplines. Here is a list of what we can teach: [https://strangenew.world/labs/what-we-know](https://strangenew.world/labs/what-we-know) We also encourage each of our members to take on a Passion Project, which could be as simple as getting up and running with a new artistic medium or project, or as complex as laying the groundwork for your dream business or career. We believe there has never been a better time (at least in OUR lifetimes) to set your sights on what your ideal life would be two years from now and then just start moving toward it. And maybe we can help you do that by giving you the hand-holding you need to get over that first hump, which can sometimes be the most difficult part. **How to Give Back** If you are a member looking to give back, or if you like what our organization is doing, then please follow, subscribe, rate us, and smash that like! 🤣 I know it seems silly to many of you, but in the attention economy, just the act of following us, liking our posts, and reviewing our events can make a huge difference in how the algorithm shines upon us. Also, if you would like to support us in a more direct way, please consider giving us a one-time donation, subscribing to one of our tiers, or sponsoring us. We pay for a lot of stuff out of pocket, so please consider becoming a patron to support the overall longevity of our group and vision. [https://strangenew.world/support-us](https://strangenew.world/support-us) **More Information** What we explore during our meetings really depends on who shows up and what they want to discuss: * The changing job market. What skills will matter in 10 years * The future of business and the creative industries * Chatbots, LLMs, and Agentic Workflows * Using AI for scientific or artistic exploration * Will generative art destroy Hollywood or save it? * What is consciousness? What constitutes intelligence? * The various types/platforms of vibecoding and which is best for your project * The end of capitalism as we know it * Are we entering the 2nd Cognitive Revolution? * **Learn more at: [https://strangenew.world](https://strangenew.world)**
