Architecture, Design & Drinks — June 2026
Sat, Jun 27, 1:00 AMArchitecture, Design & Drinks is a casual monthly gathering for people who work in, around, or are inspired by design. We meet on the last Friday of each month to unwind, trade ideas, and connect. No agenda, no pressure. Whether you’re an architect, designer, creative, or simply design-curious, this is an easy way to expand your circle and have meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting. New faces are always welcome. Grab a drink, join the conversation, and stay as long as you’d like.

The Fre - Oakland Theater Project
Sun, Jun 28, 1:30 AMLet’s get together and do something a little different. I love experimental theater but don’t find it as often as I might like, so this feels like a fun chance to see something playful, bold, strange, messy, and alive., The show begins at 7:30. We will meet at 6:30, so we will have time to chat and get seats together. *The Fre* is a queer, all-ages play by Taylor Mac that turns the theater into a wild, joyful world inside a literal ball pit. Part mud-riot, part rave, the play explores what happens when freedom becomes chaotic, conformity hides inside collective joy, and language begins to dissolve into play. The result is both liberation and collapse — a muddy reminder that freedom can unite us, but it can just as easily devour us. Raucous, raunchy, and unexpectedly tender, *The Fre* explores freedom across class and tribal lines, reminding us that connection, play, and solidarity may be the only way out. Don’t miss this wild and generous work from a contemporary genius of the American theater, directed by Mylo Cardona. TICKETS $40 [https://ci.ovationtix.com/35459/production/1267298?performanceId=11774911](https://ci.ovationtix.com/35459/production/1267298?performanceId=11774911)
