As always, all fiber artists are welcome. *** **About the location:** The Hidden Cafe is a cozy cafe located in the Strawberry Creek Park in Berkeley. On weekends they also host pop-up food options. **How to Get There:** BART: 10 minute walk from North Berkeley station Bus: 51B, 800 Car: Parking for Strawberry Creek Park is available, along with on-street parking nearby. Bike: For those north (in Albany or El Cerrito) you can also take the bike path directly to the park!

Thursday Casual Clay Night

Looking to get your hands dirty on a Thursday night with some pottery? Pre-register and bring your friends for our Casual Clay evening. Acceptable from beginners that just want to try working with clay to more experienced potters wanting to hand build. Email clay@stickyartlab.com to register. Wildflowers in Watercolor: A Beginner-Friendly Workshop

Cost $55/person Spend the afternoon painting local wildflowers while mastering watercolor basics. In this 2 hour workshop, you'll explore essential techniques, experiment with color, and leave with new skills and your own original artwork. All supplies provided and experience levels welcome! You'll leave with a stronger understanding of watercolor fundamentals, new creative tools to continue exploring the medium, and your own finished artwork. All supplies are provided, and all experience levels are welcome! About the Instructor: Lauren Dresnick is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who believes art making should be accessible and rewarding for everyone. Stitchy Witchy: herchurch’s fiber arts club

Join us for an afternoon of working on your fiber projects. Knit, crochet, weaving, spinning, what have you! Rather than a class, this is intended to be a group of folks working on projects together, though of course we’ll help each other out! But there won’t be any formal instruction in our sessions. Please text Jennifer for help getting into Zoom or the herchurch building. Meetup is not a reliable platform for last minute messages! 415 425 9070 This circle meets on the second Sunday of each month from 1-2:30(ish) pm PST. We meet in person at herchurch, 678 Portola Dr in SF, and on Zoom. Please be vaccinated or masked and free of symptoms of illness when joining us in person. Please avoid the use of fragrance.

Upcycle Social Sew/ Art/Fix it/ Finish it! (In person)

Come over and get crafty with us. Camaraderie and clever upcycling ideas circulate at our sessions! What do you want to repair, reuse, or reinvent today? Choose your adventure... Option 1: Social sew! BYO sewing machine, use a loaner, or bring your hand sewing project or mending. We also have some discarded fabric/ clothes ready to cut up and play with and some basic sewing tools, as well. Option 2: Fix it! Repairs are less odious - even fun - with friends, new and old! Bring your broken tchotchkes, dilapidated heirlooms, or jewelry in need of a makeover. We can provide some glues and hand tools. Option 3: Finish it! Bring along an unfinished collage or craft project and get your momentum back. First time on us, $5 donation, no one turned away for lack of funds. Some snacks provided. We invite you to bring a vegetarian snack to share. Please change your RSVP on meetup if you can't make it, so someone else can have a spot. We're looking forward to creating with you! Location notes: The "Joy Factory" is a private home in Alameda's West End. Our house is not wheelchair accessible (1/2 flight of stairs). We have cats. Street parking is sometimes crowded.
