However, Dinner is only for Participants that joined on the day of the event. Event Location: Atrium Food Court The food court is directly connected to the Dundas subway station. Leave the subway station and walk west along Dundas Street. At the intersection of Bay Street and Dundas Street, you will find an entrance. Proceed down the escalator. The food court is on the basement floor. Please talk to the organizer with the signboard showing TJEX. (If you can’t find them, please send a message to the organizer.) ⚠️RSVP & Late Policy: If you are unable to join on the day of the event, please change your status from 'going-list' to 'not going-list'. Join us for a fun afternoon of hiking, speaking in both English and Korean, and making new friends. Whether you're a fluent Korean speaker or still learning, this event is perfect for anyone interested in Korean language and culture. **Remember to bring bug spray, sunscreen and water!** **If the weather is bad, we will postpone this event.** **Route:** We will follow the Lower Don River Trail, visit Ever Green Brick works, and then follow Beltline Trail to Davisville Station. **The Route is about 9km and will take around 2 ½ \~3 hours.** Of course, this is an urban hike, you can get off the trail whenever you want and take the TTC home. This will be an easy, mostly flat trail with a paved path. There is one hill less than 100 meters of elevation gain as we exit the valley. **Fee**: **3 CAD**. Reclaiming our Human Future from Big Tech

This is the inaugural meeting of the Luddite Society of Toronto. A group that seeks to fight for a future where we can live as human beings, not just as consumers of digital "content". Resisting the agenda of the most powerful, wealthy, and influential industry in the world is not easy. And it is not something any of us can do on our own. It is only by working together that we have a chance to make a change. This initial meeting will deal primarily with three discussion topics: 1. How to fight back against big tech's narrative of an "inevitable" digital future 2. How to cultivate healthier digital media consumption habits 3. How to engage with non-digital forms of art, craft, and entertainment All are welcome!
