QUEENS! RPG One-Shots—Beginners Welcome! RSVPs open 10/11
Sat, Oct 24, 4:00 PMWe welcome everyone interested in role playing games, whether you’ve never picked up a set of dice before or you’ve been running games for 20 years. We work hard to intentionally create a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment to explore new games and old favorites. Bring your co-workers, friends, and partners, too! We understand that it’s hard to commit to an ongoing RPG. That’s why each of our games concludes in a single session and requires no player prep or ongoing commitment. If you are looking for longer-term games, this is a great group to connect with other players and GMs who are looking for the same. Each session, we bring several different tabletop RPGs to the table, and the options are different every Meetup! Most of them are indie and small publisher games. We've played over 100 different RPGs across more than 40 Meetups and can likely organize a table to run that obscure game you've always wanted to try! If you’re a game designer looking for playtesters, you’ll find a willing table with us. Here are [some of the games](https://airtable.com/appsju3sLuh1jlkwY/shrU8KqBolq6wcw8v/tblD1hw0138xBW7vl) we could potentially run. Please gather at 12PM to check in. Game selection will begin promptly at 12:15pm. If you arrive significantly later than that, we will most likely be able to find a game you can join, but there is a small chance there won’t be any open spaces left. —————————— We strive to create an inclusive community and provide a safe space for gaming free of harmful or discriminatory conduct. Here is a link to our Code of Conduct if you'd like to learn a bit more: [http://tinyurl.com/nyctabletopcode](http://tinyurl.com/nyctabletopcode) P.S. Join our Discord chat server to stay in the loop and talk all things RPG: [https://discord.gg/NtK55ZH](https://discord.gg/NtK55ZH) —————————— We are a diverse community of many different genders, sexualities, races, religions, ethnicities, and abilities. All who agree to abide by our Code of Conduct to promote a safe and inclusive space are welcome. This event will take place in QED's backroom. Please be aware of other events that may be occurring in the space as you join us! Our hosts do not allow any outside food or beverage! Accessibility Information: QED is fully wheelchair-accessible, with zero-entry and an ADA accessible bathroom. While images of QED may show tables that are too close to navigate, we rearrange the tables for our events. Fri, Oct 30, 11:00 PM**Register for game here: [https://theeclecticchicboutique.com/event/drag-dungeons-dragons-one-shot-lodge-in-the-forest/](https://theeclecticchicboutique.com/event/drag-dungeons-dragons-one-shot-lodge-in-the-forest/)** Adventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&D campaign, facilitated by a magically whimsical Drag Dungeon Master. We embrace the quirky, the chaotic, and the downright silly. No experience necessary, we welcome players of all skill levels. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk. **Players will be playing the one shot Lodge in the Forest:** Pompton! the Queen, a long time D&D nerd and horror movie fan, invites you to a leisurely, innocuous stay at her Lodge in the Forest™. Enjoy swimming in a crystal lake. Revel in childhood games like would you rather, truth or dare, or hide and seek. Perhaps a different game of truth or dare, this one released a year later? Gather and recount childhood stories of clowns and janitors. However you may choose to enjoy your stay, just don’t scream. This is a D&D 5e horror movie inspired one shot (and therefore may entail more character risk) for characters around 5th level. So bring your camp counselors, your horror movie enthusiasts, your escapers of death and join me on October 30th: I’d like to play a game **Register for game here: [https://theeclecticchicboutique.com/event/drag-dungeons-dragons-one-shot-lodge-in-the-forest/](https://theeclecticchicboutique.com/event/drag-dungeons-dragons-one-shot-lodge-in-the-forest/)**
