The 4 Royal Parks Walk, 3.5 miles

We will meet at the St James' Park tube station. From there we will walk via St James's Park, Buckingham Palace, Green Park and arrive at Hyde Park. * From there we will continue via the Rose Gardens and the Serpentine to arrive at Kensington Gardens. We will finish our walk at the Italian Gardens. * Optional lunch/drinks at the end of the walk. Refreshments and toilet facilities available in the vicinity. What to bring: Comfortable footwear Water Photo-taking gadgets and chargers An umbrella just in case (it's London after all) The walk is free for members who have subscribed for an annual membership. For other members the fee is £5 cash/card on arrival to contribute towards the organiser's meetup fees and costs. The annual pass option is £15 payable by cash or card on the day. This will provide access to at least 40 walks per year (members are welcome to bring a guest to each event). All walks are free for the NHS staff (also welcome to bring a guest). ***'No Show' Policy:*** *If the member replied 'yes' but did not attend the event, did not update the RSVP and did not inform the organiser on 3 occasions – this triggers an automatic removal from the group. That's once for events with a waiting list.*

End of June Picnic - St James's Park

It's time again for an anime picnic in the park as we're returning to St James Park. Join us for a relaxing afternoon discussing anime. Whether it's current seasonal show or a classic series all are welcome. Please bring food and drinks for yourself. There will be snacks to share but these will likely go quickly! There is a Tesco Express near Trafalgar Square if you need something in a hurry. The closest stations are Charing Cross and Westminster. Make New Friends At A Bookshop

Do you want to meet new people in a relaxing chill atmosphere surrounded by new books? Do you dislike loud and smelly places like pubs and clubs? This is the event for you. Science and Philosophy Book Club is creating a new kind of meetup where people who love books and knowledge can meet new friends in a big book shop. We will explore around different sections of the book shop together as a group while making interesting conversations with each other. We will go to both fiction and non-fiction areas. If you feel shy and feel nervous to come alone, I will make sure you will feel comfortable and accomodate to your needs. I will help introduce you to others so you can go over the barrier of anxiety when approaching a new person. We will meet on the ground floor lounge area of Doubletree Hilton Hotel at 6 p.m. It is an amazing cosy bar with classy vibes. We will wait for everyone to show up while getting some drinks and socializing. At 7 p.m we will head to the Waterstones book store near Russel Square and UCL. After we explore the book store, we will come back to the hotel bar and stay there for the rest of the night. This event requires £5 donation to cover the venue fees. You can pay via cash or card. You're warmly invited to our seasonal Open Studios, to leisurely stroll around our 27 workshops and studios, meet the artists and look at a variety of art and handmade crafts - from painting to photography and from Japanese ceramics to silk screen prints.
