Friday evening climb in Bushwick (+ drinks @ KCBC)

Whether you've never climbed or you're a pro, whether you want to boulder, top-rope, or (maybe) lead, we'll partner up and climb some walls. MetroRock Bushwick is pretty evenly split between bouldering and rope climbing, so we'll form groups based on climbing preferences, and who's belay- and/or lead-certified, or willing to get certified. This event is open to all skill levels, but please note that teaching belay techniques is not permitted at MetroRock outside of a scheduled class. If you plan to take the belay test, please make sure your skills are up to speed before you arrive. If it's your first time at MetroRock, try to get there a few minutes early to allow for registration and signing the waiver. Expedition: Kilimanjaro Climb for Charity

Highlights include the Old Croton Aqueduct, the North County Trail, and the Croton Reservoir. This biking and camping trip is accessible by train from the Croton Harmon Metro North station. We will ride Saturday morning and early afternoon, then relax and camp at Croton Point Park. There will be camping, bikepacking, and gravel riding skills demos at camp during the afternoon and evening. You can also go for a dip in the Hudson to cool off.
