**BCRG first Sunday of the month social ride** **What to Expect:** This is a monthly riding event that the organizers of BRCG created to socialize between the different groups and levels of the participants of this meetup. Every organizer shares the details of his ride below and you can attend signing up for the event and answering the name of the organizer you will go with. After the rides, all groups will meet for drinks. **Is This Ride for Me?** Before to sign up for a ride check the details of the route, elevation, km and speed level expected. While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a **road bike**, and **have done rides of similar distance and elevation** before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be **self-sufficient**, therefore please bring not only your helmet, a spare inner tube, at least 1lt of water and a energy snack if you wish but also sync the route, bring phone and some cash. **Safety:** Beside wearing an helmet, proper shoes (not open shoes) and a road bike in good conditions **every rider is responsible of his own safety** and must respect the [spanish cyclist regulations](https://www.dgt.es/comunicacion/noticias/20-normas-que-todo-ciclista-debe-conocer/), ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly. Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. **There's no commercial interest behind this event;** it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. The route starts with the 8.09 am FGC R6 train departure from the Plaza Espanya FGC station to La Pobla de Claramunt (the arrival at Pobla is at 9.30) Here it is the route: [https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-ciclismo/la-pobla-de-claramunt-la-llacuna-25768488](https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-ciclismo/la-pobla-de-claramunt-la-llacuna-25768488) The route visits the charming town of La Llacuna. PLEASE read this important information: If you ride with me, you agree that: This is not a sports club; no business is involved, and each member is responsible for his/her safety at all times You have to take a proper road bicycle to ride with us and bring all the things you need to ride in safe and good conditions (helmet, tools, replacements, water, energetic food, cash for train tickets and lunch, etc)? You will come if you are able to complete the route. Please, we will ride together in a GROUP. We will wait for the slowest people, also at crossroads and on the top of the climbs. The routes are usually a full day to enjoy the views, and usually have lunch together. If you are in a hurry or have a time constraint, it is better not to come with me. My average speed is about 18km/h. Please, answer the questionnaire when you sign up for the event, including the details of a contact, preferably. If you need to cancel your RSVP, then please do it online and let me know asap. Looking forward to riding with you!
