Black Forest Weekend

Black Forest Weekend

Thu, Jun 11, 4:00 AM
From TripstoTales - Berlin based travel group

This trip costs 289€ including - * Travel with ICE (to and from) * 4D/3N Accommodation * Rodelbahn tickets * Entry to select attractions as per itinerary * Guided Hikes Check memories from our past trips here - https://tripstotales.com/memories Some weekends are meant to disconnect — this is one of them. The Black Forest is where nature slows everything down. Think dense forests, quiet lakes, flowing waterfalls, and roads that lead you deeper into calm, scenic landscapes. Over these 4 days, the experience is built around enjoying this rhythm — from peaceful walks through forest trails to discovering hidden waterfalls and soaking in views that feel untouched and timeless. There’s also a fun side to it — like the Rodelbahn ride, adding a bit of thrill to the otherwise slow-paced escape. And in between, you’ll explore charming towns like Freiburg and Staufen, where cobbled streets and local cafĂ©s bring a different kind of experience. This trip is not about rushing from one place to another. It’s about taking a step back, breathing in fresh air, and enjoying a long weekend that feels calm, scenic, and easy. If you’re looking for a nature-filled getaway with a mix of relaxation, light adventure, and beautiful landscapes, this is exactly that. Why travel with TripstoTales? At TripstoTales, we focus on curated small-group trips that are thoughtfully designed from start to finish. We handle the planning, routes, and logistics so that the experience feels smooth and stress-free. Our trips are built for people who want more than just visiting places. With a smaller group size, everything feels more personal, more relaxed, and far from the typical rushed group travel experience. For this trip, that means a well-paced long weekend where you can fully enjoy the Black Forest — without worrying about planning, transport, or missing out on the best spots. If you’re looking for an easy, scenic escape with great company and everything taken care of, TripstoTales is the right way to do it.

Villa Jacobs is one of the more hidden and special places in Potsdam. Located close to the Jungfernsee, it is surrounded by a historic park designed by Peter Joseph LennĂ©, which is today part of the UNESCO World Heritage area. On this weekend, the park of Villa Jacobs opens its gates for the [Weinfest im Park der Villa Jacobs](https://www.potsdam.de/de/veranstaltung/weinfest-im-park-der-villa-jacobs-open-air). There will be wine from the Villa Jacobs vineyard, Mosel wines, small snacks, and the possibility to enjoy the park, the orchard, the linden grove and the view towards the Jungfernsee. So, let's use this opportunity and hike there from Wannsee! We'll meet in front of Bahnhof Wannsee at 10:45. From there, we will start walking along the Teltowkanal and continue towards Griebnitzsee. We will then walk through the area around Glienicke and cross the famous Glienicker BrĂŒcke, the historic bridge connecting Berlin and Potsdam. From there, we continue towards Villa Jacobs, where we should arrive around 15:00. After the hike, you will have the optional possibility to visit the Weinfest in the park of Villa Jacobs. The entrance is free. Important things to note: * Be prepared. Expect muddy grounds, a lot of sun, mosquitoes, businesses accepting cash only. * You are all responsible for yourself. None of us is mountain guide or something like that.
