🔴🚶🏻 Hike: Darkness to Daylight - Midnight to Midday & Beyond ...🌌➡️🌄
Fri, Sep 4, 10:00 PM🌙 **Active Muslims: Midnight to Fajr to Sunrise & Beyond Hike!** Step into one of our most meaningful challenges yet - a multi‑peak, overnight journey combining elements from four of our hikes in the Surrey Hills. This hike blends quiet reflection, gentle endurance, and the beauty of moving through the night as a community. We’ll walk at a steady pace, embracing stillness, patience, and the calm of the forest after dark. ⭐ **Midnight Departure & Stargazing at Leith Hill** We begin at midnight, following peaceful woodland tracks towards Leith Hill, the highest point in South East England. Under open skies (British weather permitting), we’ll take our first long rest break to stargaze, breathe deeply, and enjoy the rare tranquility of the night. This is a moment to slow down, reset, and appreciate the quiet vastness around us. 🌅 **Fajar & Sunrise & at Holmbury Hill** Our path continues along the Greensand Way to the ancient Iron Age hillfort of Holmbury Hill, where dawn breaks over the horizon. Here, we will pray together, watch the sunrise, and take a peaceful nap as the world gently wakes beneath us. Afterwards, we descend towards a village, arriving around 8:00am for public toilets. 🌳 **The Final Stretch into Guildford** We continue through the beautiful morning light of Chantry Wood, following quiet trails that lead us directly into Guildford. We’ll finish with a relaxed, picturesque arrival into this historic town - perhaps even rounding off the experience with a well‑earned afternoon tea. *This experience requires endurance and mental patience, offering a meaningful chance to challenge yourself, strengthen your mindset and confidence, and grow.* 🔴 **HIKE:** 📏 33km (20.5 miles)\* 💓 Av.
