Perfect for anyone wanting a nature-based detox spent in good company exploring the forests, valleys and peaks of this unique and beautiful landscape. *** **ITINERARY** **Friday: Journey to the Lake District** * **Meeting Point:** Meet outside Euston train station at 6 pm * **Train to the Lake District:** You'll travel together as a group by train, enjoying the company of fellow adventurers and the anticipation of the weekend ahead. * **Meet the Guide:** Upon arrival in the Lake District, you'll meet your guide who will accompany you throughout the trip. * **Transfer to Accommodation:** You'll be transferred to your cozy accommodation near Windermere, where you can settle in and relax for the night. **Saturday: Exploring Windermere and the Surrounding Area** * **Breakfast:** Start the day with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for your first hike. * **Hike:** You'll be driven a short distance to begin your first easy hike of the weekend. The specific route will not be confirmed until the weather forecast is known, but rest assured that our highly experienced and qualified guide knows the area better than most and will pick the best options to maximise your enjoyment throughout the weekend. * **Pub Dinner:** After a day of hiking, you'll head out for a delicious dinner at a traditional local pub, sharing stories and enjoying the warm atmosphere. **Sunday: Discovering the Langdale Valley** * **Breakfast:** Another hearty breakfast to start the day. * **Hike:** Again, the specific route will not be confirmed until the weather forecast is known. Your guide may provide you with a few options from hills to lakes, rivers and hidden waterfalls. *This is your weekend and we want you to go home after having the best possible experiences* * **Return Journey:** You'll transfer back to the train station for your return journey to London, filled with wonderful memories of our weekend in the Lake District (expect to arrive in London at around 9pm) **Join us for a weekend of easy hiking and relaxation in the Lake District, where stunning views and tranquil paths await. A scenic Sunday walk through one of London’s most beautiful open landscapes — **Bushy Park** — followed by a peaceful riverside walk along the **Thames Path**. Expect wide open views, ancient woodland, historic parkland, and a chance to spot **herds of free-roaming deer**. This is a lovely route — open skies, beautiful trail, and a walk to stretch the legs and clear the mind. *** ### 📍 **Meeting Point** **Kingston Railway Station (KT1 1UJ)** We’ll meet **just outside the main exit**. **Meeting Time:** 15:45 PM We will leave at 16:00 PM sharp. Join us for a steady circular walk that combines Richmond’s royal parkland, peaceful riverside paths and one of London’s most celebrated viewpoints. This easy loop starts and finishes at Richmond Station and follows a mix of broad park trails, quiet residential streets and the scenic Thames Path. We’ll keep a steady, comfortable pace suitable for anyone confident with moderate distance and light elevation. Please note - this is a pre-lunch walk and we shall aim to finish before 2pm. ### **📍 Meeting Details & Distance** * **Meeting Point:** Outside Richmond Station * **Meeting Time:** 10:00 AM * **Start Time:** 10:15 AM (sharp) * **Distance:** Up to 15 km (circular) * **Difficulty:** Easy ### **🌿 What You’ll See** As we enter Richmond Park — the largest of London’s Royal Parks — expect wide open grasslands, ancient oak trees and the chance to spot red and fallow deer roaming freely. The route passes historic lodges and open viewpoints before reaching Pembroke Lodge, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the Thames Valley. We then descend towards the river and join the Thames Path for a calm stretch along the water. **Group Hike \| Tring & the Chiltern Hills \| Sun 16 Aug** Chalk trails, woodland and sweeping Chiltern views 🌿 A circular hike from Tring up onto the Chiltern hills, taking in Beacon Hill, Aldbury Nowers and Clipper Down. Only 40 minutes from Euston but properly rural from the first step. ***About this hike*** We start at Tring station and head up onto the chalk hills, following a mix of woodland paths, open fields and farmland. The route takes in Beacon Hill and its wide views, the chalk grassland and beech woods of Aldbury Nowers, and Clipper Down, before looping back to Tring. There's somewhere to grab a coffee roughly halfway round, but do bring a packed lunch — we'll stop to eat on the trail. ***The route*** A mix of chalk paths, farmland and beech woodland with some climbs and around 1,400 feet of elevation total. Expect big views across the Chilterns and possibly some farm animals along the way. ***The details*** 📍 Meet outside Leon (upstairs) inside London Euston from 09:05–09:15 for the 09:25 train, arriving Tring at 10:02 — or join us at Tring station at 10:02 🚶 \~14km / \~8.5 miles ⏱ \~3.5 hours moving time (nearer 4 hours with stops) 💷 £10 per person ***What's included*** ✔️ A guided hike led by a qualified outdoor first aider ✔️ A healthy snack on the trail ✔️ A friendly, welcoming group (capped at 20) ***What's not included*** ✖️ Train ticket ✖️ Any food or drink you buy along the way ***How to pay*** Once you RSVP, I'll message you with bank details.
