Sun, Jul 19, 8:35 AM**š„¾Hike Details** **⢠Distance:** 17 km **⢠Hiking Time:** Approx. 5-6 hours **⢠Grade:** Easy/Moderate **⢠Ascent:** 90 m **⢠Pace:** Steady with breaks for lunch and photos **⢠Cost:** Ā£33 per person (includes guided Hike & return train tickets) **š£ Hike Description** Join us for a spectacular hike through the **Royal landscapes of Windsor Great Park, magnificent Virginia Water Lake** and finishing in the **historic town of Windsor** beneath the magnificent **Windsor Castle.** Our hike begins along the peaceful shores of **Virginia Water Lake** before winding through the **stunning Valley Gardens**, famous for their vibrant rhododendrons and azaleas in spring. Along the way, weāll visit the **beautiful Cascade Waterfall,** one of the parkās hidden gems and the **fascinating Leptis Magna ruins,** where ancient Roman columns brought from Libya in the 19th century create one of the parkās most unique historic sights before passing Wick Pond. Weāll then explore some of the parkās most iconic landmarks ā including the impressive **Totem Pole, carved from a 600-year-old cedar tree**, the **historic Obelisk** commemorating royal victories and Cow Pond, a picturesque spot filled with water lilies. As we continue past the Royal Lodge and into **Windsor Deer Park,** keep an eye out for herds of deer roaming freely across the landscape. Then comes one of the iconic landmarks, the **Copper Horse statue standing proudly on the hilltop.** From here, we join the **famous iconic Long Walk** ā a breathtaking tree-lined avenue stretching all the way to **Windsor Castle**. With stunning views and centuries of royal history surrounding us, itās one of the most iconic walks in England and the perfect finale to our journey. Starting in the village of Southease, we'll take a lofty hike up along the spine of the South Downs and circle around the beautiful town of Lewes via Black Cap. This is the heart of the beautiful South Downs National Park and pastoral England, and great for those who like hilly challenges. Relaxed evening stroll along North Londonās green pathways

Weāll pass the 150-year-old āPalace of the Peopleā, before wandering through beautiful parkland and the leafy, village-like neighbourhoods of Crouch End and Highgate.
