Potluck Picnic by the Lake — Music, BBQ & Games! 🌳
Sun, Jul 5, 10:00 PMLet's wind down the holiday weekend with a relaxed afternoon by the lake! Join us for a laid-back potluck picnic with good food, good music, and good company. The 4th of July rush will be over, so this is the perfect way to enjoy the long weekend without the crowds. We'll have the grills going for a BBQ cookout, music playing, and plenty of games to keep things fun. Come hang out, eat well, and meet some great people. **🍽️ The Potluck:** This is a potluck, so bring a dish to share if you can — a main, side, dessert, snacks, whatever you love to make or pick up. Prefer to just bring your own food and drinks for yourself? That's totally fine too. The more variety, the better! **🔥 BBQ Cookout:** We'll be using the park grills, so feel free to bring something to throw on. Don't forget your own plates, utensils, and napkins. **🎶 Music & 🎲 Games:** We'll have tunes going all afternoon. Bring your favorite board games and outdoor games — cards, cornhole, frisbee, a ball, anything goes. Let's keep it playful. **🚗 Rideshare / Carpool:** Looking to share a ride? The comments section below is the perfect place to ask! If you'd like to carpool — whether you can offer a ride or are hoping to catch one — just drop a comment with your general area, and connect with others heading the same way. It's a great way to save on parking and meet a few people before we even get there. **📍 Good to know:** * 🕒 We'll be there from 3:00 to 7:00 PM * 🅿️ The park may charge for parking, so bring a little cash or card just in case * 🧺 Bring a blanket or a chair if you'd like * 💧 Stay hydrated — bring water!
