Improv Games in the Park, Spanglish version!

Improv Games in the Park, Spanglish version!

Sat, May 30, 3:00 PM
From Improv Games in the Park
4.8

**(English version below)** **NUEVO EVENTO: JUEGOS DE IMPROVISACIÓN – VERSIÓN “SPANGLISH”** ¡Hola! **¿Puedo ir solo a mirar?** ¡Claro! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ **NEW EVENT: IMPROV GAMES – “SPANGLISH” VERSION** Hello there! We’re Joyce and Asha, and we’ve both been improvisers for a long time. We’ve teamed up with Dave to bring you this new version so you can enjoy improv games every week! Since some Spanish speakers are also interested in joining, we’ll run the sessions in both Spanish and English so everyone can learn and improve together. Don’t worry — you don’t need to be fluent in either language. The most important thing is to have fun! 🎭 Join us for a great afternoon full of fun games involving acting, improvisation, and theater! No experience or acting skills required. All you need is imagination! Anyone who is interested in trying something new is welcome. It's also a great way to meet people. After the event we usually go for drinks and/or dinner together. **What do we do in this event?** We will play all sorts of games that involve acting and improvisation. Many of them you might know from the TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway?". The games we play are different every time, but here are some typical examples: [https://youtu.be/Y_KMYPsPNXQ](https://youtu.be/Y_KMYPsPNXQ) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkxRzV3gtDc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkxRzV3gtDc) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXMcdieubL0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXMcdieubL0) If you don't like some of the games, don't worry, you can participate in as many games as you like and it's perfectly fine to skip any games you don't like. **How much does it cost?** We're charging 2 euros per person. This is just to help recover some of the expenses of the meetup account. We're hosting this event only for fun and we do not intend to make any money out of it. You can pay in cash or by Bizum when you arrive at the event. **Can I come to just watch?** Sure! If you don't want to participate, or if you're not sure yet, then you're welcome to just come along and watch. **If I want to join, do I need to sign up?** Yes, please! Even if there are more than enough places, it is very important that you still sign up for this event. This is for two reasons: 1\. If not enough people sign up then we may have to cancel the event\. 2\. The more people sign up\, the more attractive this event becomes for other people to also sign up\. **Where do we meet?** We meet in the Parc de la Ciutadella. If you're coming from the Arc de Triomf and enter the park, turn left directly after the entrance. You will see a big industrial art piece (see photos). Keep walking until you passed it. We meet right behind this art piece. When we arrive at the meeting point we usually upload a selfie to the photos section of this event, so you can recognize us. We also usually bring a small A4-sized meetup sign. **What happens if it rains?** In case of rain we will move the event to the Mercat Sant Antoni, where we can play under a roof. In that case, please keep an eye on the comments section of this event for further details. **Do you have a Whatsapp group to stay in contact after the event?** Yes, we do! If you want to join our group, please ask the organizers to add you, before or after the event.
