Sat, Aug 22, 11:00 PM
From New York City Play Reading Group
4.9

Come join us for Middle Sibling Production’s Summer 2026 staged reading of ‘A Great Wilderness' by Samuel D. Hunter! Tickets can be bought at the link [here](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1993716092502?aff=oddtdtcreator). You will need to purchase your ticket at the link before you RSVP, as RSVPing here will not reserve you a seat. Please note that, unlike our normal readings, this play will be presented by professional actors, and attendees will be in the audience. The performance will be held at The Pete in The The Flea at 20 Thomas St. I will put what I am wearing on the day of the event in the comments so you can find us if you are running late. We hope you enjoy this staged reading! Synopsis: After decades as the gentle-natured leader of a Christian retreat that endeavors to “cure” gay teens, Walt is packing up his life and preparing for a reluctant retirement. But when his final client quietly disappears into the remote Idaho wilderness, Walt discovers that his previously unwavering moral compass no longer points the way.

The Green Room - Actor Meet-up

The Green Room - Actor Meet-up

Tue, Aug 11, 11:30 PM
From The Green Room

So You Wanna Be an Actor? Hi friendssss! I’ve found that it can be surprisingly hard to make time to see fellow actors, writers, models, and other creative people outside of class, rehearsals, and work. So I wanted to create a casual weekly space where we can connect, meet new people, share what we’re working on, and build community. As we grow, the location may change if I find a spot that’s an even better fit for the group. The vibe is less of a formal networking event and more of a relaxed creative meetup where people can talk about acting, auditions, projects, industry experiences, goals, or whatever else is on their minds. A few notes: * No drinking is necessary—totally up to you. * The bar also has food, soda, and other non-alcoholic options available. * Feel free to invite actor friends and other creatives who would enjoy the community. * Come as you are—whether you’re just starting out or have been in the industry for years. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing where this community grows! — Sierra
