Looking for a relaxed evening to unwind, get creative, and meet like-minded people? Join us on the first Wednesday of every month at Halfway House Pub, Earlsfield, from 7:00pm–9:30pm for a casual craft club. There are no classes, no expectations, and no pressure to be "good" at crafting—just a friendly space to spend a few hours making something and chatting with others. Bring your own project if you're already working on something, whether that's knitting, crochet, embroidery, sketching, journaling, model making, or any other portable craft. If you don't have a project, don't worry—we'll have supplies available for everyone to enjoy, including adult colouring books, yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and simple craft materials. Come for the whole evening or just drop in when you can. Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy a creative midweek break. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced crafters.

Weekend Paint in the Park (Victoria Park)

Weekend Paint in the Park (Victoria Park)

Sat, Jun 27, 3:00 PM
From London Artists & Creatives!

Hey everyone! For our very first meetup, we’re heading to Victoria Park Saturday 27th June at 4:00 PM for a super chilled afternoon of painting and hanging out in the sunshine. Please don't worry at all if you haven't picked up a paintbrush since school—this is completely casual, zero-pressure, and mostly just an excuse to unwind and chat with some new people. We’ll bring basic paint supplies (paper, paints, brushes, and water jars). All we ask is a £5 contribution on the day just to help cover the cost of the fresh materials. Feel free to bring along whatever snacks, picnic food, or drinks you fancy. We'll probably not have easels or canvas for this event, just card or paper, but we'll see what we can do. See the pinpoint on the map for the rough location. Please join the WhatsApp group if you can't find us and I'll guide you: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/CrxJ5ihGhrP6FPlqrBfVPj?s=cl&p=i&ilr=1](https://chat.whatsapp.com/CrxJ5ihGhrP6FPlqrBfVPj?s=cl&p=i&ilr=1). Can't wait to meet you all there!

This celebration is a fun way to experience Tanabata (七夕), a traditional Japanese summer festival that blends mythology, customs, and making wishes under the stars. Join us to celebrate the Tanabata Star Festival, a centuries-old tradition inspired by the romantic legend of Orihime and Hikoboshi - two celestial lovers separated by the Milky Way, who are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh night of the seventh month.
