The London Film-Jam Social (free) is an opportunity to meet and chat with other Jammers both past, present and future as well as to have a look at what we've been up to! Come along and see what we are all about or just catch up with old friends an relive those crazy days of filmmaking, or just chat about films in general. We'll start the day at about 12.30 by showing a few films made at previous Jams and then there will be the much awaited Premieres of the 1 Month Film Jam Films. After that everyone can mingle for a few hours to get know each other, until 3pm. Everybody welcome! Bitter Christmas - Pedro Almodovar

From iconic director Pedro Almodóvar, Bitter Christmas tells two alternating stories one starring Elsa, an advertising director, in 2004, during a long weekend in December.The second takes place in 2026 and follows Raúl, a screenwriter and director who is writing a script. His script, we soon discover, is the story of Elsa and those around her. Elsa is, in a way, Raúl's alter ego, who, like him, resorts to autofiction as a solution to a long period of creative drought. He looks inside himself, and he can't help but also look at the people who make up his most intimate universe: his partner and his assistant. The film narrates the close relationship between reality and fiction, between inspiration and life, exploring the limits of autofiction and stories within stories.

'Filmmakers' social sit-down: BFI-NFT lobby bar (on Theatre Ave, Southbank)

Come along to BFI-NFT for a relaxed sit-down social - 1st Monday every month, 7pm: An informal meetup open for anyone pursuing or developing personal film-making goals, however big or small. (See location info for how to find us.) **Format / Schedule:** This isn't a formal networking event: it is for newcomers and outsiders, to be able to meet and chat. No pressure to pitch - you can discuss your film goals and background as much or little as you wish. Also a chance to exchange input about any events and resources that you may have found useful (or not!) - anything that may help each other find what they need. (Nothing beats word of mouth :) **7.00pm-7.45pm** - Arrive / Get drinks or food. **7.45pm-8.30pm** - We will take some time to speak as a group and share (if you are comfortable): -To say what we're most looking to find, from networking. -What we've found most hard to find, so far. -What we've found most easy to find. -To take the opportunity to exchange personal information, and share any resources we’ve come across which would be useful to others. **8.30pm- 9.30pm** You're welcome to stay on longer and keep chatting, no pressure to stay, we'll be meeting every month. ....
