Our teams had just one month to take an idea from concept to screen — bringing together writers, directors, actors, crew and other creatives to make their short films. Come along, see what they created and support the filmmakers behind the work. ### **In Conversation with Ajit Mann** This month, we’ll also be joined by independent filmmaker **Ajit Mann** for a special In Conversation and audience Q&A. We’ll be talking about the **realities and challenges of independent filmmaking** — the obstacles Ajit has faced along the way, how he has overcome them, creating your own opportunities and what he has learned through the process. There’ll also be an opportunity to **ask Ajit your own questions** about filmmaking and his experiences in the industry. ### **🎬 Meet. Watch. 'Filmmakers' social sit-down: BFI-NFT box-office bar (on Theatre Ave, Southbank)

Come along to BFI-NFT for a relaxed sit-down social - 1st Monday every month, 7pm: An informal meetup open for anyone pursuing or developing personal film-making goals, however big or small. *(See location info for where to find us) **Format / Schedule:** This isn't a formal networking event: it is for newcomers and outsiders, to be able to meet and chat. No pressure to pitch - you can discuss your film goals and background as much or little as you wish. Also a chance to exchange input about any events and resources that you may have found useful (or not!) - anything that may help each other find what they need.
