**A free day retreat under the trees of Hampstead Heath, co-produced by our community.** **WHY:** Humans are naturally creative, naturally social, and naturally part of nature. Modern life squeezes our creativity, our time together, and our time outside. We want to make space (physically, temporally, economically) for people to come together, be creative, and connect with nature. **How does this connect to THOUGHT EXPERIMENTS IN PUBS (TEiP)?** TEiP has become a thriving community because our events create opportunities for people to get straight into meaningful, imaginative, creative conversations. We want to take that imagination and creativity to the next level. We've met so many people with skills and ideas to share, and so many people up for trying new things. So we're creating an opportunity for people to share and learn from one another in the same openminded, relaxed spirit as TEiP. ZINE MAKING with LESS STRESS PRESS: cultivate creativity

A special event to share the creative practice of zine making 💭✍️✂️🎨📖 IN A NUTSHELL, zine making creates opportunities to: * spend time exploring ideas * hone in on something you love or care about: a cause, a message, a skill, a place (the possibilities are endless) * get creative with collage, drawing, writing, printmaking (etc.) * produce compelling and unique booklets that you can print cheaply and share with friends and strangers offline After lots of creative brainstorming of their own, Bonny and Ellie have landed on zine making as the perfect way to both open up space for playful, low stakes creativity, and focus their minds on bite sized projects. Join me for a fun Drama class every Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm- 8:30pm at the Omnibus Theatre in Clapham Common. Acting helps with confidence and awareness. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere, you will meet new people and learn all about Acting. No experience is needed. We'll do relaxation exercises, games, improvisations, storytelling, and a bit later on we'll start working on character and text. The year ends with an exciting Showcase where friends and family come and see how all your hard work has paid off :) £10 pounds for the trial class to be paid before or after class. A stunning 9 mile walk in the beautiful countryside, along country lanes and river surrounding Pulborough in Sussex ! Lets go with the flow ! We shall buy group return train tickets at 9.30am for the train at 10.05am that arrives at Pulborough at 11.22am. Train ticket : Return to Pulborough Or you may decide to drive. Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc, waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers. You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour. We shall aim to take the train back to London from Pulborough at 4.55pm. We shall have coffee or a drink towards the end of the walk. Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance. COUNTRYSIDE £5 WALK: HENLEY, THAMES, WOODS 🌳🌲🌿 and MEDIEVAL VILLAGES

STUNNING COUNTRYSIDE WALK (approx. 7 Mile). STRENGTHEN NEW FRIENDSHIPS IN A PUB SOCIAL AFTER THE WALK. Get out of London for a day in the countryside in the company of great friends! Today we will visit Henley on Thames, the beautiful market town set on the Thames in the midst of the stunning Oxfordshire Chiltern Hills. Henley is the home of the famous Henley Regatta and Henley Festival. From there we will embark upon a walk through scenic rural Oxfordshire. We walk, along the Thames Path from Henley, to Hambleden Lock Island and then on to the pretty village of Aston after which, we will proceed to the medieval village of Remenham with its historic church dating back to norman times. This is a very scenic walk, outward along the Thames, through woods and back again across open countryside, with many places of interest en route. This day out will also be a great opportunity to socialise and make new friends. We will finish the walk back in Henley on Thames, close to a large pub where the socialising can continue. We start the event at Henley Station at 2.30pm. Trains are available from Paddington Station in Central London. Journey time is approximately 1 hour and 10 mins with up to 2 changes (usually at Slough and/or Twyford). Aim to arrive at Paddington at about 12.30pm (there will not be a host at Paddington) if you want to take advantage of group travel discounts (I/3 off), and also allow time to purchase tickets etc. You can organise to meet others for group tickets (minimum 3 people) in the comments section below. Trains back from Henley to London are available at half hourly intervals. Look for Ken with the Ken's Events/Meetup Flag, inside Paddington station and outside Henley Station. RISKS: In these walks we use; pavements, cross busy roads, public parkland, towpaths, other public paths, rights of way, bridlepaths, country lanes and other recognised paths and tracks through woodland, bush and countryside. Please only wear good sturdy shoes, preferably walking boots and take care as surfaces may be uneven, tree roots may protrude, there may be low overhanging branches and some paths are also used by joggers and cyclists and sometimes cars (country lanes) If you require insurance for these walks then you must arrange this yourself. Unfortunately no dogs and small children are permitted on this countryside walk as we will encounter farm animals during this walk. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions, and always carry a bottle of water. There are no convenient exit points during this walk, so you should only come on this walk if you are fit, and are prepared for the full 7 miles. Please note that there is a £5 meetup organisers contribution for this countryside walk for guests and those members who do not yet hold the Ken's Event Card. You are recommended to take out the Ken's Event Card for £25 (which lasts for a full 12 months from date of issue) to avoid paying the meetup organisers contribution each time you attend a walk. You can obtain a card during the event if you wish.
