Radio City Nocturne!

Radio City Music Hall lights up brilliantly at night and we're going to take advantage of that with a weekend nocturne. This is also a special event because this is my last event before I have a newborn in my life (surprise!). November's events will necessarily be, uh, probably non-existent. Don't write me off fully! But I will obviously need to take some time to create a routine with my new tiny roommate that can accommodate plein air painting sessions again. Our meeting point will be at 7pm across 50th st from Radio City Music Hall, against the Warby Parker. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day. Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!

Our 50 & Over Social Walks are an extremely popular way to make new friends and meet others in a safe and unique setting. This event is very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. Little Island provides a one-of-a-kind relationship between nature and art—a break from urban life and a connection to spontaneity and joy. It's become NYC's newest and hottest attraction! We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Come and join for a zone 2 training on Tuesday mornings! Zone 2 training is to maintain at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. It has many benefits (just ask the Internet).
