The Rejuvenation Hangout- Refresh & Connect!

The Rejuvenation Hangout- Refresh & Connect!

Sun, Aug 30, 8:30 PM
From The Thrive & Vibe Collective
4.8

**Come thrive & vibe! Rejuvenate body & mind with awareness & connection with yourself and others. Expect a beginner Pilates session with influences of Yoga and meditation.** We gather at 1:30pm, allow some time for chatting and late comers, and then try to start the session within 15/20 minutes. We start with a brief introduction, then we’ll do a 45-50 minutes session to wake up body and mind, working the core, open up joints and spine with stretching and deep breathing. I will add meditation to enhance a sense of peace and joy and to the liking of the group. For those who'd like to hang out afterwards to chat-, connect-, and get to know each other better: We can hang in the park, or we can take a short walk (0.3 mi) to Jackson Market to get something to drink and/or eat. Love this place! It's super cute, can get a little crowded on a Sunday, but I'd say it's definitely worth it. OR We can drive a couple of miles west and take a walk at the beach. **Things to bring:** Water A blanket/towel, and/or yoga mat. If you have a sensitive back or neck; bring something to prop in-under as we will lie down for a bit. An extra sweater… You never know about the weather….. **For the Feet:👣** I suggest you let your feet breathe and ground in the grass whilst in the park…. It’s also the best in order to be able to use your whole foot when doing the exercises. **How to Find Us:** Once you've parked your car around the park or on the side streets, meet us in the park. We'll be towards the centre. Looking forward to meeting you!🤗 **Cost**: This event is FREE, but a donation graciously appreciated. If you decide to buy a drink or something to eat after the session, the cost for your items is your responsibility. **Oh-….almost lastly!:** When joining any of the events please be respectful and considerate and cancel your RSVP if you can’t make it so that we don't wait for you for nothing! If you're running late, please text me and let me know. However, if it's after the start, I might not see it until the exercise session is over. **If you feel unfit to participate in any of the planned activities, or, you’re not sure:** **Feel free to contact me through a Direct Message or text me at +13234046613 at least 24 hrs before the event, and we can figure it out!** **You’re also welcome to join in and just sit in silence and enjoy the vibe!!!** **Or learn more about the organizer:** Follow Kicki on Instagram: *KickisBalancedTherapy* Website: \*[www.swedishbalance.net*](http://www.swedishbalance.net*/) Kicki has been a professional bodyworker/massage therapist for 21 years. Pilates Instructor since 2015. Bikram Yoga practitioner since 2012. And a lifelong student of dance, movement and healing. **Read Kicki’s articles in** \*Brainzmagazine.com:\* *“Having an Agonizing Spot Between Your Shoulders?”* “*Holistic Therapy for Lower Back Pain,* *Does it work?” Part 1, 2, and 3.* *“Ever Felt Better After Laughing Out Loud?* *Explore the Health Benefits of Laughter and Hypnosis”* “*Healing Through Movement and Inner Wisdom”* *Exclusive Interview with Kicki Hjortmarker* **Lastly, be aware that** you are responsible for any losses or injuries that might occur during an event. For eg. If you take off and don’t follow the group: You’re on your own! You run across a red traffic light and get run over by a car: You will have to deal with yourself and the driver… or perhaps your insurance company! Watch your vauables! Don't engage in exercises that feel unsafe to you: You're always welcome to modify or just sit in stillness. You’re responsible to bring enough water to stay hydrated. If you step, slip, fall on a rock, you and nature are the ones to blame. Hope this makes total sense!!! **Still questions? Please DM me!!!🤗** **Or text at 323-404-6613-** At least 24 hrs before an event to make sure I see it and have the time to respond!🙏💜♥️💙
