Let’s get together for some scrabble and back gammon games ! We need a minimum of 4 participants to make this event happen. If anyone has a more suitable location than Bodega please feel free to suggest it.

Backgammon Club of Encino

Meets every Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m at the Encino Courtyard : 17401 Ventura Boulevard, Encino 91316 The Courtyard is at street level. There is plenty of free parking in the back lot or on Ventura Blvd. You can see us playing next to Western Bagel and Planet Fitness. All levels of players are welcome. You're welcome to stay and play for the whole time or just a few games. Please bring a board if you have one (Although we always have a few extras on hand). Rooftop Board Game Wednesdays

Bring a friend or group, and join us at Tomat on our rooftop for board games every Wednesday evening from 5-8pm! We provide chess, checkers, scrabble, backgammon, and cards--though you're welcome to bring any of your favorites. Enjoy a sensational view of jets landing at LAX under our beautiful shade canopy. Our food has been featured on the Michelin Guide since opening, and our cocktail and wine lists have received awards from PUNCH and Wine Spectator, respectively. We offer seasonal beers from around LA, and a vast selection of Non-Alcoholic options.

Saturday Game Night

I'm at Grismer Coves, apartment A11 - buzz 11 at the gate. First building, upstairs. There will be drinks in the fridge and a candy bowl on the table. If you'd like to bring something, great, but don't feel obligated. Vaccinated only. No mask required. FYI - I have a cat. The first 9 spots are open to anyone. After that, I will move some people from the waitlist to 'Going', but I give priority to folks who are regulars. BTW - I know parking can be a pain. Please follow these suggestions: 1. Look on Grismer. You might get lucky. 2. Drive down to the corner of Grismer and San Fernando. Turn right. 3. Park. There are always about 10 spaces there and it's only a block away. People don't look there because it feels like you're getting on the freeway.

Mt. Pacifico Backpacking/Car Camping Overnighter

We've done this popular overnighter at this FREE campground several times before, on foot, by bike, and by car. Please join the waitlist to attend- those who I have backpacked with before have priority **Backpacking: Meet Melanie by 8am at the Mill Creek Picnic Area** 7miles one way, 14 miles total. Over 2,000 elevation gained. All trails link below description. **Car Camping HIGH CLEARANCE RECOMMENDED** show up any time: From the Mill Creek Picnic Area take Pacifico Mountain Road (3N17), which is an unpaved fire road, 6 miles up to the campground. The fire road entrance is accessible from the Mill Creek fire station, located just a few yards above the picnic area. Mt Pacifico Campground is situated just above 7,100' in elevation, overlooking the entire Antelope Valley below. Night time views of the city lights below are spectacular! *Campsites are first come first serve*, and there are picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. **THERE IS NO WATER!** If someone is willing to drive water up, please post it in the comments below :) **PLEASE HAVE ALL YOUR ESSENTIALS...** ...especially your own stove if you plan on prepping hot meals and beverages.
