Nibble Night - DEFCON Soldering Meetup

It's almost time for DEFCON! The ScriptKitty team is building flipper-compatible Mesh radios for Defcon classes, and you can learn surface mount soldering at Null Space Labs! Come build with us, or just hang out and see how hacking tools are made. If you have experience with soldering or pick and place for surface mount electronics, come join us for a fun night of music, pizza, and making electronics! We’ll be giving LoRa node kits to volunteers who can help us build for more than 2 hours, but anyone is welcome to hang out and see how electronics are made (and sometimes destroyed)! We’ll be building the Nibble Zero, a Flipper Zero compatible LoRa mesh radio, that also works just fine on its own! These cute Mesh nodes will be powering workshops at Defcon teaching beginners how to get started with Meshcore, Meshtastic, and Reticulum. C++ Show & Tell (in-person)

At this in-person meetup, we are welcoming people to show off whatever cool \`c++\` project(s) you might like to show off. Not pure \`c++\`? That's okay, I'd like to share a predominantly-Swift project myself, admittedly. Plan for a casual meetup with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. Then you will LOVE this event! Here is your opportunity to have some fun playing our Live "Bingo" game. You will also get to socialize and make other friends from the comfort of your home. A monthly meetup open to the public focusing on reducing overconsumption and waste by helping the community mend clothing, teaching generalized sewing, and offering guidance through your fabric based projects. A member of CRASH Space with sewing knowledge will be in attendance to help with small mending and alteration tasks or to facilitate your journey into the world of textiles. We frame ourselves as **"a support group for the technological singularity"** and we are an eclectic mix of open-minded thinkers, artists, and tinkerers who believe in embracing the emerging technologies and capabilities in the most humanitarian way possible. Our meetings have a super casual and open atmosphere where all are welcome to contribute. Feel free to come late or leave early.
