Wednesday Morning Blasts

Wednesday Morning Blasts

From Barcelona Road Cycling Group
4.9

**Weekly Wednesday Morning Rides are here!!** **Where & When:** * **Location:** **Forum (Poblenou)** * **Time:** 06:30 (Now that mornings are getting lighter this sees us return for 9am latest) * **Route:** https://www.strava.com/routes/3458756381789219340 **What to Expect:** This is a fairly flat group ride with just one key climb that is neither too long or too steep. The ride is designed to be done in approx 2.5 hours for fitter riders and sees us ride as a group before either heat or traffic are a factor. We'll ride together as a group, either single-file or double-file depending on traffic conditions. Whilst we will wait at the top of climbs and other easier areas, this is not a beginner ride. Please be prepared to be dropped if you can't keep up with the pace. **Is This Ride for Me?** While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a road bike, and have done rides of similar distance and elevation before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be self-sufficient, therefore please bring not only your bike but also sync the route, bring phone, cash and lights. **Safety:** Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. Ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly, and everyone will be responsible for their own safety. There's no commercial interest behind this event; it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. Looking forward to riding with you!

PLEASE read this important information: If you ride with me, you agree that: This is not a sports club; no business is involved, and each member is responsible for his/her safety at all times You have to take a proper road bicycle to ride with us and bring all the things you need to ride in safe and good conditions (helmet, tools, replacements, water, energetic food, cash for train tickets and lunch, etc)? You will come if you are able to complete the route. Please, we will ride together in a GROUP. We will wait for the slowest people, also at crossroads and on the top of the climbs. The routes are usually a full day to enjoy the views, and usually have lunch together. If you are in a hurry or have a time constraint, it is better not to come with me. My average speed is about 18km/h. Please, answer the questionnaire when you sign up for the event, including the details of a contact, preferably. If you need to cancel your RSVP, then please do it online and let me know asap. Looking forward to riding with you!
