Sullivan Canyon

This is a moderate intermediate ride in the Santa Monica Mtns. It includes fire road and single track trails. We'll climb Sullivan Canyon and get on dirt Mulholland to Farmers Ridge single track. Continue over to the Hub. From there we can decide whether to go out to Eagle Rock and loop back or if we want to do more we can do Will Rogers to J Drop to the Goat Trail and return to Sullivan. Meet at 9 am at Queensferry and Bayliss in Brentwood. Park any where you can along Bayliss.To the Hub and Eagle Rock loop is 20 miles about 2000' gain. Will Rogers/ J Drop/Goat trail are more technical single tracks.

Burbank/Chandler Bike Path: Pack Walk **new meeting location**

**Make note of the new meeting location and please read entire description before you RSVP. All breeds welcome!** Expect to maintain tight proximity as we share the pedestrian lane of the bikeway with moderate traffic, including runners, children, strollers, and other dog walkers. Other distractions in the adjacent bike lanes will include passing fast-moving bikes, scooters, and skateboards. **REQUIREMENTS:** Participants must submit a member form and participant release of liability each year. **[Click here to submit one](https://forms.gle/GzcftLq1MyLZpSG87)**. If you don't recall completing one this year, complete one now. **RULES:** ***First rule of our pack walks is to BE SAFE so that everyone has fun!*** All participants must comply to ALL guidelines below or will be asked to leave the event. 1. Participants limited. **RSVP is required to hold a spot.** As soon as you know you cannot attend, cancel your reservation. We understand last-minute changes take place; however, if you don't show up more than two times you will be placed on the wait list for future events. 2. If you feel even slightly ill (including a headache, sniffles, minor fever or even an allergy), do not attend this event. Stay home for your health and safety of others. Remember to cancel your reservation. 3. Maintain a 6 foot distance from other participants not in your household. 4. Face mask/shield is optional. Please maintain a 6' distance from anyone choosing to wear a mask. **MEETING LOCATION:** Gather in the dirt area by the end of the railroad tracks on the east side of Mariposa St., just across the east end of the Chandler Bikeway. **PARKING:** Residential street parking on Mariposa St., Chandler Blvd, and the surrounding neighborhood. **WHAT TO BRING:** Water for you and your dog. We will do some mental exercises, so bring treats (or your dog’s dinner), or a toy for rewarding them. The path is well lit, but consider bringing lights as it will be dark by the end of our walk. **PACK WALK DISTANCE:** About 1.5 miles **TRAIL:** Paved street. **DIFFICULTY:** Easy **DISTRACTION LEVEL:** Medium - High: There may be periods of high traffic where we will need to share the road with oncoming and passing users of the pedestrian lane. There will also be bikes, scooters, roller skaters, skateboards, etc. passing in close proximity at higher speed, in their own dedicated lane. For nearly all of the route, there is plenty of room to step off the paved path in case you need to create extra buffer space. **LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES:** #1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control. #2 PLEASE NO NOSE TO NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction. #3 Please bring doggie poo bags. #4 Make sure you bring water for you and your dog. #5 One dog per handler. No exceptions! #6 Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass. \*All breeds welcome. * There will be foot traffic, critters, and several other dogs. FRIDAY--Easy Night walk around Silverlake

Silverlake can be quite beautiful at night. Walk is mostly easy 2.2 miles RT around the lake. Walk is approx. 1 hour. There is short uphill on this walk--approx. 10 minutes Some members go to the local Oyster bar afterwards. **Rain will cancel walk. Dogs ok as long as on leash.** Parking: Street parking. There is more parking when you park along the lake --along W. Silverlake Dr.

Culver City : Fall Classic Stair Hike #4 - 6 miles, 3 hours

Get into the Halloween spirit with a spook-tacular stair hike—with some major league Fall Classic vibe mixed in! Our loop begins at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area near La Brea Avenue, where we’ll tackle a newly-built set of stairs before crossing the La Cienega bridge toward Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. There, we’ll take on the famously challenging Culver City Stairs. Along the way, we’ll celebrate teamwork, perseverance, and a little postseason magic. The World Series is scheduled to end today and we hope the Dodgers are in it the entire way–even to a scary, nail-biting game 7! Expect plenty of elevation, great views, and enough stair climbing to make your legs feel haunted—in the best way. The route is approximately 6 miles, with 1,061 feet of cumulative elevation gain and loss. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the corner of La Brea Avenue and Don Lorenzo Drive. Free street parking is available on Don Miguel Drive and Don Zarembo Drive.
