From Pitch Your Friend + Singles Events by Gareth Lewis

Dating in 2026 can be hard. Who *doesn’t* have app fatigue? Join us at The London Art Bar for an IRL dating experience like no other. In this event, you’ll get a chance to pitch your friend to a room full of awesome other singles. All tickets come with a glass of prosecco (or non alcoholic alternative) on arrival. **If you’re pitching:** all you need to do is create a 3-5 minute slide deck (Google Slides, PowerPoint - whatever you prefer) that shows off all the best things about your friend. You’ll then need to take to the mic and give your pitch to the room. You might just be playing cupid! We will have time for mingling in the break and after the pitches - so plenty of time to work your charm if someone catches your eye. **Not pitching?** No worries - there are plenty of spots in the audience and you’ll still get to join in with the mingling of course. **Doors will open at 7PM with the presentations starting from about 8PM.** **Key info for pitchers:** Please arrive at the venue close to 7PM so we can introduce you to the equipment and run through any issues You can make your presentations in a range of formats (Canvas, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides). Please send them to hello@garethlewis.co no later than 10PM the day before the event in either Google Slides or PowerPoint format When making your presentations, please be mindful of your friend’s privacy. Don’t include anything they will be mortified to have featured, and consult with them what contact details are appropriate to share (or not). Instagram handles might be okay, but not home addresses! Summer is heeeeeerrrrreeeee! T Let's go for a new beautiful hike in one of England's most stunning forestry regions. I haven't taken any group to this particular spot yet, so if you are a regular and want to see a brand new beauty trail, this is your hike... We will begin our hike in the little village of Witley and will finish the trip in Milford. If you like real nature like I do, you will be enjoying every step of the way as we cross woodlands, heathlands and moors. You know what a forest is, but do you know what a heath or a moore are? Well, it is simply a rare and unique habitat and Britain is home to over 20% of the world's heathlands and they can be impressively beautiful! And on the top of that are home to an impressive array of wildlife, some extremely rare such as the nightjars and dartford warbler, so keep your eyes peeled... Evidently afterwards, we are likely to make our way to a restaurant or pub for some tasty food before we head back to good old London. INFORMATION: COST: £17 via PayPal for the guide's fee Under £20 in cash for the train, we will have a 35% discount with a group saver if we buy our train tickets together and will get an off peak day return meaning that we do not actually pay for the return journey. The train takes about 1h20 minutes. INCLUDED: Guided trip The photographs that I will have taken on the day and that I will share on the WhatsApp group. A great time with lovely people NOT INCLUDED: Train Anything not mentioned above WHAT TO BRING: Waterproof shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes, otherwise good trainers; Weather appropriate clothes, including waterproofs if there is a chance of rain; Water bottle; Packed lunch and snacks.
