NEW HIKE: Autumnal colours Part 1: Is this Surrey or Canada?

There is a magical place not too far from good old London where the colours of the trees seem straight out of a fairy tale, it will allow us to take the most gorgeous pictures both mental and physical, a trip that I could make many times and never get tired of. The hike will take us through stunning woodlands, villages and in places straight out of a book from the Grimm brothers Red, yellow, green, orange, all these colours will charm us. Take your lover, meet one or just enjoy the nature with our awesome hikers, whatever the reason, this is a pretty place that I will teach you to love. This hike will have a couple of hills and is a bit longer than my usual ones and will feature tons of varied landscapes and views to remember. This is a remodeling of one of my first ever hikes in the UK. If the public right of way is still open, we might even have a peak for free at the Winkworth A rboretum (The owner has been trying to close the public right of way for many years and as I haven't been in4 years, I cannot promise access, but nevertheless, we will have a try. The rest of the hike though is an absolute stunner, you will see so many different landscapes and types of woodlands that you can only fall in love with it! As always, you will have the opportunity to grab some food in a nice restaurant in Godalming after the trip. PLEASE HAVE WATERPROOF SHOES WITH A GOOD GRIP, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS HIKE WITH TRAINERS AS IT WILL GET REALLY MUDDY. Autumn colours part 3: Bath Skyline circular, and travel included

Hello my sweet Jonions and future ones! I know, strange word, between a stinky vegetable and a copyrighted cartoon species ( don't worry if it sounds harsh, if I have to be compared to the leader in the cartoon, you win!) but this is how I call my sweet hikers with all my love! It is time to go to Bath and visit this stunning, amazing, fantastic, fabulous city. We do not get short of words when it comes to describe what is England's most beautiful city. Trust me, if you haven't been (yet), it is time to come and join me on my trails. This is one of my two hikes in the region and this is the one you want to choose if you wish to spend time visiting Bath in full. We will begin our tour with a hike around the city's skyline, I mean, this is a NOT TO BE MISSED trail, Bath is surrounded by hills and the views from the top are something that you will not quite be able to forget. We will hike through woodlands and countryside, walk along castles, manor houses and through one of the best preserved Roman cities in Europe and certainly, Britain's best. You will admire it both from within and out. After the hike, we will have a walk around town where I will show you what the city has to offer. We will get lost in its streets, have a peak at the abbey and the stunning Pulteney Bridge; It is one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides and one of the most beautiful in Europe. If you wish ( at an extra cost) you can visit the Roman Bath, number one attraction in the city. The city became a spa, named by the Romans *[Aquae Sulis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquae_Sulis)* ("the waters of Sulis") c. 60 AD when the Romans built baths and a temple in the valley of the River Avon. The Abbey was founded in the 7th century and became a religious centre; the building was rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. In the 17th century, claims were made for the curative properties of water from the springs, and Bath became popular as a spa town. There are many Georgian structures crafted from Bath stones that gives its unique style to the city, the most famous monuments include the [Royal Crescent](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Crescent), [Circus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Circus,_Bath), [Pump Room](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Pump_Room,_Bath), and the [Assembly Rooms](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_Assembly_Rooms). And of course, we will end our trip with a delightful meal before we hop on the coach back to London. If you like beauty, history, and having a lot of fun and laugher, you will have a blast so click and join this fabulous trip. INFORMATION: TRANSPORT: Trains to Bath cost £70 return plus the fee and the coats would come up to over £100, expensive I know, so to save money, we will use the national express coach from Victoria Coach station taking just 45 minutes extra for half the price. There are toilets and aircon on board and the seats are really comfy, better than a minibus, believe me.
