London Local Filmmakers Collective (LLFC) — Kickoff Cocktails and More!

Sat, Jun 13, 6:30 PM
From London Local Filmmakers Collective

We’re kicking off the very first **London Local Film Collective** **(LLFC)** meetup at **The Cocktail Club Monument** on **June 13**. We’ll meet at **7:30 PM**, with more details and exact meetup instructions to come closer to the day. It is a perfect spot to gather, talk shop, and get to know each other before we start making all kinds of brilliant low-budget chaos together. You can check out the venue before the meetup:[ ](https://www.thecocktailclub.com/bars/monument?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=gbp&utm_campaign=homepage)**[Here.](https://www.thecocktailclub.com/bars/monument?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=gbp&utm_campaign=homepage)**[ ](https://www.thecocktailclub.com/bars/monument?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=gbp&utm_campaign=homepage)The bar is at **Monument, 2B Eastcheap, London EC3M 1AE**. Located in King William House. **A quick RSVP note: We will be making reservations the night before. Because this venue is reservation-based, please do not RSVP yes unless you’re fairly certain you can attend. If something comes up, please update your RSVP as soon as possible and let us know. More than two no-shows will result in removal from the group. No villain arc, just logistics.** This first meetup is all about connection. Come by, have a drink, meet other filmmakers, and tell us what you’re working on — whether that’s a short film, a documentary, a script, a micro-budget feature, a half-finished idea living in your Notes app, or a project you’d love to jump onto with other people. Directors, actors, writers, cinematographers, editors, photographers, animators, and curious *“I know I want in, I just don’t know where yet”* people are all welcome. We’ll meet at **7:30 PM**, and I’ll send more details and meetup instructions closer to the day. Let’s make some cool stuff together!

Meeting Link to be shared the day before. 🎯 **What we do:** * First 15 mins: Start with a quick round of introductions and sharing your personal goal for the session — whether it’s reading, writing, language learning, working on a side project, or even something practical like monthly budgeting. * Then we enter **Focus Time**: 1 hour of quiet, uninterrupted work. We'll all muted and focus. I'll play some background music but you could mute it and play your own. A timer will also be shown on the screen to show when you are coming back. * Last 15 mins: We regroup to share how it went — your progress, your feelings, or anything you’d like to reflect on.
