clueQuest: IAMAI

clueQuest: IAMAI

Sat, Aug 22, 9:15 AM
From Female Friends - London (20-45yrs)
4.7

We are going to the new escape room 'IAMAI' at clueQuest, featuring projection mapping, animatronics, and quirky twists. MM7 has retreated to one of their safe houses after being attacked by an unidentified assailant. Your objective is to reach MM7, prevent a system-wide breach, and capture the rogue AI threatening the world's online safety. Word of caution: intel suggests the AI is evolving fast, and it may not remain contained for long ([Website](https://cluequest.co.uk/escape-room-missions/iamai)). After the game, we could have brunch at the Rotunda Restaurant nearby. Please pay £43, £3 for admin fee and £40 for the ticket. There will be no refunds but you could sell your ticket to another member if no longer able to attend.

Time for another type of bowling event - introducing Duckpin Bowling! This will be at the Hollywood Bowl in Uxbridge as only a few branches do this type of bowling. Will be playing 2 games of duckpin bowling at the price of £15.40 per person. Payment will be required shortly after RSVP as I have to book you into the lane and as we get nearer the price might rise. Here's more information on duckpin bowling; Featuring smaller, lightweight balls with no finger holes and shorter, squatter pins, duckpin bowling is perfect for all ages and skill levels. I've personally never tried this before, so I'm looking forward to doing so with those of you who come!

🗣️ Arabic Practice Circle: Social & Structured Session

🗣️ Arabic Practice Circle: Social & Structured Session

Sat, Aug 22, 10:00 AM
From Active Muslims 🟢🟡🔴
4.9

A regular meetup for those committed to practising and improving their Arabic. It is designed for those who know the very basics and want a structured opportunity to practise reading, listening, speaking, and building confidence. If you're still learning the very basics but want some motivation to keep going, you're very welcome to join. Note: This is a practice group facilitated by a native speaker - not a formal teacher or taught class, and not a Quran teaching session. 📚 SESSION FORMAT: ⏱️ 30 mins Intro & Social: We'll go around and introduce ourselves in Arabic. Feel free to prepare 2-3 sentences beforehand if you don't like being put on the spot! 🗣️ 60 mins Structured Practice: A focused session practising together with guidance : ◾ Taking turns reading passages aloud ◾ Listening to excerpts from an audiobook ◾ Working together to translate and understand the text 💬 Continued Socialising: Feel free to stick around afterwards for more informal chat and connection. ✊ Note: Active Muslims is equally about focusing on the actual activity, in this case, it is a practice session requiring mental engagement and active participation (and not just a social), therefore it is advised to approach and attend these events with that mindset, intention and purpose. 📍 LOCATION: Kismet Café ⏱️ TIME: Meet from **11:00am** for intros and socialising. The practice session starts promptly at **11:30am** insha'Allah. 🎒 What to bring: 📚 Any Arabic texts you would like to read 🎧 Headphones (optional, if you prefer listening privately) ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ If you can no longer attend, please update your RSVP to free up your spot for someone on the waiting list. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ 🌐 **[@Active.Muslims](https://www.instagram.com/active.muslims)** *(Follow for latest events updates)*
