Local Social Host Sign-Up: Lunches, Drinks & Curated Experiences

**Want to help bring your city’s community together?** We’re looking for local hosts to organize small group lunches, evening drinks, mixers, movie get-togethers and curated experiences. **No experience necessary,** just a friendly attitude, some local knowledge, and a willingness to meet a few new people. After each event, we’ll send a short feedback form so we can improve and support you. Each session is similar, but the tasks may vary depending on what is needed that day (e.g., sorting food). We had a great time serving together with lots of smiles, laughter, and good energy. Ride to No Jets T.O. Save Our Waterfront Rally and March

This is an easy, family-friendly 9 km bike ride along the western portion of Toronto's Waterfront Trail to the **[No Jets T.O. Save Our Waterfront Rally and March](https://www.meetup.com/to-sustainability/events/315602700/).** The route is a scenic paved multi-use path which can be busy on summer days. All ages, cycling abilities, and bikes are welcome (including BikeShare)! A helmet is required for those under 18 and is highly encouraged for adult participants. Please make sure your bicycle is in good working order before the event. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunscreen, and bring hydration. Washrooms are along the route. **9:45 am: Meet in the middle of Humber Bay Arch Bridge** 10:00 am: Depart eastbound along Waterfront Trail 10:20 am: Pause to gather at Lake Shore Blvd W entrance to Coronation Park **10:30 am: Arrive at Harbour Square Park and lock bikes for [Rally and March](https://www.meetup.com/to-sustainability/events/315602700/)**. Avengers’ Saturday Cafe for the Homeless

Note: You may be removed from the attendance list if you've participated in the previous week's event. This allows for more people to experience this Meetup. Avengers put your costumes on and let’s go and save the world!
Well we can’t save the world (yet), but we aim to try to play a small part in the lives of those experiencing homelessness by making their day a bit better!
Description: Before the event the organizer will post a list in the comment section of the attendees and what they are responsible to bring (food/drink, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies). We normally ask each attending member to bring approximately $15-20 worth of ingredients/supplies to our event. We will use the items to prepare and serve food/drink at The Meeting Place.
Timeline: We will meet on location at 11:00 am, with lunch served between 12:30-1:00 pm.
Membership Dues: Membership dues are $2.00 for the calendar year. Membership dues go towards paying for food/supplies incurred by no-shows. Membership dues are due at the first meetup of the year that you attend.
No Shows/Late Un-RSVP: We’re relying on members who RSVP to bring key ingredients for recipes! Please try your best to show-up or alternatively change your RSVP early so another member may fill the empty spot.
\*\*\* If you are on the waitlist, keep checking as you may be moved into attendance to replace someone. We will try to message you to confirm your attendance in advance.

Saturday Nature Leisure Walk and Night Life in Port Credit (Walk, Talk & Flock!)

Hello everyone, **\*\*Kindly Read Carefully\*\*** Please join me and my other groups for a great **Saturday in** **Port Credit.** If you have never been; it's a great place to enjoy the sun, the water, the trees, the flowers, grab a coffee, ice cream, go for a leisure walk by the lake and then enjoy a tasty meal. Port Credit is also known for it's live music and dancing too (Event is both indoor and outdoor) I'm going to show us all around Port Credit, play a couple new ice breaker games and then head to a fun restaurant in the main strip of town with a great dinner menu following the walk. \*The walking portion will be roughly 2 hours with some stops along the way; then we will head for dinner and more mingling. This will be a fun day and evening gang! We will meet at **Star Bucks (111 Lake Shore Rd. West) in Port Credit** where you are welcome to grab a beverage or pastry if you like.
