I'm really excited because this is **DebateWars' very first event**. My goal is simple: to create a place where people who enjoy discussing current issues and sharing their opinions can actually have meaningful conversations. Here's how the event works: * We all meet in a Zoom call and spend a few minutes chatting and getting to know each other. * Then I turn on my camera and randomly invite **two volunteers** who signed up as speakers to join on camera. * They'll be assigned opposite sides of the same topic, regardless of their personal beliefs. * I'll ask them a series of questions, and each participant will have **2 minutes** to answer and defend their assigned position. * Once the debate is over, the audience votes for the participant they believe made the stronger case. * We repeat this format with different participants throughout the event, and by the end, we crown an overall winner. I'm genuinely excited to see how this turns out. If you're looking for a chance to challenge yourself, improve your speaking skills, and defend your ideas in front of a live audience, I'd love to have you join us. If attendee limit is full, send me a message -yagizalanli
