Overcoming the Fear of Selling Topics
Wed, Jul 29, 6:00 PMDoes the thought of selling make you feel uncomfortable? You're not alone. Many talented professionals, entrepreneurs, coaches, freelancers, and business owners struggle with sales—not because they lack ability, but because they worry about being pushy, hearing "no," or feeling judged. What if selling didn't have to feel like selling? In this interactive workshop, you'll discover how to shift your mindset from "convincing people" to genuinely helping them solve problems. Through practical exercises and supportive discussions, you'll learn how confidence grows when you focus on connection rather than pressure. During this workshop, you'll explore: Why so many people fear selling and where those beliefs come from How to reframe sales as a conversation built on trust and value Practical techniques to overcome self-doubt and fear of rejection Confidence-building exercises you can use before important conversations How to communicate your value naturally and authentically This is not a traditional sales seminar packed with scripts or high-pressure tactics. Instead, you'll take part in a supportive, hands-on experience where you'll practice new skills, exchange ideas with like-minded people, and leave with practical tools you can apply immediately. Whether you're growing a business, changing careers, networking, interviewing, or simply want to feel more confident talking about what you do, this workshop will help you develop a healthier relationship with sales—and with yourself. No previous sales experience is required. Come with an open mind, leave with greater confidence.

Sanjay's Birthday Picnic @ Richmond Green - Donation to Cancer Research
Sat, Jul 18, 2:00 PMHi All, **No host fee, but a mandatory donation for cancer research. If you don't attend the event, you can of course still donate. After all, it's for a good cause, and I doubt it will break your bank. No cards or gifts, just donations, thank you.** **Donation Link - [https://www.justgiving.com/page/sanjay-patel-6](https://www.justgiving.com/page/sanjay-patel-6)** **I'll try to have a QR code for on-the-day donations. You don't need to wait till the day to donate 😀** Why not come along after the Richmond festival to sit & relax, and mingle with others, which isn't easy to do at the festival. All picnics are weather-dependent, so I may need to change the date in the worst case or change to an indoor event. I will confirm nearer the time. I'll let you know what I'll be wearing and my number nearer the time. The location is on the corner of Richmond Green near the pubs The Prince’s Head and The Cricketers. As per the location pic. All previous picnics have been popular, so come along to enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts. Get a dose of Vitamin D, have a good old chit-chat, and enjoy some food & drinks with friendly people. Bring your own food and drinks, thought I'll mention it just in case someone is expecting me to provide a 5\* luxury picnic complimentary 😂 Welcome to bring a speaker 🔈<= yes that's a pic of a speaker 🙈 And yes, more bad jokes to come on the day. 🌞😎💃🕺🧺🍺🍸🥤 Cheers, Sanjay
