**Escape from the blistering heat this Labor Day Weekend while disperse camping in Holcomb Valley, just a few miles north of Big Bear Lake. We’ll spend the entire weekend at about 8,000’ elevation.** **Thank you, Kamil and Erika, for organizing this trip!!** **Once you set up camp you’re free to just chillax, go on a hike, or go search for gold, if your soul desires.** **We have room for just a few more vehicles that can join us.** **By signing up you represent one vehicle, the number of occupants in each vehicle doesn’t matter. Mt. Pacifico Backpacking/Car Camping Overnighter

We've done this popular overnighter at this FREE campground several times before, on foot, by bike, and by car. Over 2,000 elevation gained. All trails link below description. **Car Camping HIGH CLEARANCE RECOMMENDED** show up any time: From the Mill Creek Picnic Area take Pacifico Mountain Road (3N17), which is an unpaved fire road, 6 miles up to the campground. The fire road entrance is accessible from the Mill Creek fire station, located just a few yards above the picnic area. Mt Pacifico Campground is situated just above 7,100' in elevation, overlooking the entire Antelope Valley below. Night time views of the city lights below are spectacular! *Campsites are first come first serve*, and there are picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. **THERE IS NO WATER!** If someone is willing to drive water up, please post it in the comments below :) **PLEASE HAVE ALL YOUR ESSENTIALS...** ...especially your own stove if you plan on prepping hot meals and beverages. Join CCSC Waterskiing/Wakeboarding at the Sacramento Delta: August 13-16

Greetings All, We will be heading to the Sacramento River Delta. It is a great place to wakeboard, waterski, sky-ski and camp. Century City Ski Club has been going to this location for well over 30 years. This years dates are: June 25-28 July 16-19 August 13-16 September 24-27 You can arrive on the Wednesday afternoon before the trip to setup camp. We will not be supplying anything on Wednesday. The actual trip starts on Thursday morning with Breakfast. The trip ends on Sunday around 11 or 12 in the afternoon. Please help wash and wipe down the boats when they are pulled out of the water. These are 2, 3 or 4 day trips. The costs are: $175 for Saturday-Sunday, $349 Friday-Sunday or $439 Thursday-Sunday If you just want to camp and eat with us, the costs are half of the above prices. Please contact us for more info. We accept Zelle (preferred), Venmo, Checks and Cash. There is an extra fee for campers (RV's $35 per day) and pets ($4 per day). Email us for pricing. Lunch is on your own (if we have on Friday and Saturday leftovers you can indulge in, but ask before taking), there is a café near the camp site. We do not supply vests, skis, wake-boards or sky ski's.... BUT... we do have extras, so ask if you don't have any we will try and help. We supply the boat(s). You'll need a tent or RV or Trailer (added fee for parking RV and Trailer) or any other kind of sleeping arrangement (car camping). Please contact us for more info. Please remember to bring lots of sunscreen, a hat and towels. The weather can change from cold to hot and hot to cold in minutes, so bring something to keep warm just in case. Summer 2026: Let's walk across or around a country

This is a trial balloon to see if there are adventurous people out there who'd like to walk across or around a country in 2025. Yes, walk across or around a whole country. There are several such paths of about 100 or 200 miles that can be walked in a week or two. For instance, the Coast to Coast path in England, Hadrian's Wall, Offa's Dyke, the Isle of Man Coastal Path, the Wexford-Pembrokeshire Pilgrim Way, etc etc. Some have inns to stay the night, others might involve stealth camping. Some have more elevation gain and tougher terrain than others, but this isn't like climbing 14ers. It might be possible to bike parts of some routes. The walking could be combined with other \*optional\* activities: \- going to football matches\.\.\. \- drinking beer and eating so much fish and chips we need a mercury detox\.\.\. \- almost getting arrested for lèse\-majesté\.\.\. OK, those are what I'll be doing. You can choose your own activities. The specifics for all this are open, I'm just trying to gauge interest.
