Happy Father's Day to all the good dads, step-dads, paternal guardians & foster parents, etc. I'm currently in Denver this weekend, and yesterday, we stopped by Rocky Mountain National Park for a quick drive / visit, and it was so nostalgic to be out in nature again (after a 3 year absence). Another group member messaged me yesterday regarding 4th of July weekend, so I'm sorry I've procrastinated so long in posting something. - My apologies this is short notice... I'm planning on going to Glacier National Park in Montana between July 3 - 10. If I can get everything ready in time, I might go to a Canadian National Park called Waterton Lakes National Park around July 1 - 2. I'm perfectly fine with going solo...I need the peace and quiet after working with kids and volunteering with kids throughout the country. Greetings All, We will be heading to the Sacramento River Delta. It is a great place to wakeboard, waterski, sky-ski and camp. Century City Ski Club has been going to this location for well over 30 years. This years dates are: June 25-28 July 16-19 August 13-16 September 24-27 You can arrive on the Wednesday afternoon before the trip to setup camp. We will not be supplying anything on Wednesday. The actual trip starts on Thursday morning with Breakfast. The trip ends on Sunday around 11 or 12 in the afternoon. Please help wash and wipe down the boats when they are pulled out of the water. These are 2, 3 or 4 day trips. The costs are: $175 for Saturday-Sunday, $349 Friday-Sunday or $439 Thursday-Sunday If you just want to camp and eat with us, the costs are half of the above prices. Please contact us for more info. We accept Zelle (preferred), Venmo, Checks and Cash. There is an extra fee for campers (RV's $35 per day) and pets ($4 per day). Email us for pricing. Please remember that even if you RSVP here, you are not on the trip until we receive your waivers and payment. Before you leave for the delta, contact us to see if there are any others that might need a ride. We do not supply transportation to the delta, so carpooling will help you and others. We supply food and beverages for Breakfast, Happy Hour and Dinner. Lunch is on your own (if we have on Friday and Saturday leftovers you can indulge in, but ask before taking), there is a café near the camp site. We do not supply vests, skis, wake-boards or sky ski's.... BUT... we do have extras, so ask if you don't have any we will try and help. We supply the boat(s). You'll need a tent or RV or Trailer (added fee for parking RV and Trailer) or any other kind of sleeping arrangement (car camping). Please contact us for more info. Please remember to bring lots of sunscreen, a hat and towels. The weather can change from cold to hot and hot to cold in minutes, so bring something to keep warm just in case. Join us for a bicycle ride on the beach bike path from Marina del Rey to Redondo Beach. There's always a cool breeze at the beach! E-bikes are welcome. This beautiful beach bike ride is 26 miles roundtrip on flat bike paths and roads. See a map of this route [here](https://goo.gl/maps/BI0GD) QUALIFICATIONS: All bike riders are invited who are comfortable and experienced riding on the road and bicycle paths for 26 miles round trip and can keep up with a group riding at a speed of 12 miles per hour for approximately 2 hours. IMPORTANT: \*\*\* You are required to wear a helmet to ride with our group. \*\*\* *** MEETING PLACE AND TIME: Arrive at 8:30 AM to park your car and get ready for the ride. There is free parking at Dock 52 parking lot. Meet Patrick at 8:45 AM in the first row of Dock 52 parking lot for a safety talk and introductions. BICYCLE: Make sure your bicycle is in good working condition with the tires properly inflated and the chain lubricated prior to the ride. RULES OF THE ROAD: Safety is always our first concern. Use standard hand signals for group rides. SPARE TIRE TUBES: You need to know how to change your own bicycle tire tubes if you get a flat tire. Please bring 2 spare tire tubes, levers, a small bicycle pump or CO2 cartridges to fill your tires with air once you change the bicycle tire tube. If you don't have spare tire tubes you might have to call a taxi to take you and your bicycle back to your car! MONEY: Please bring money for your lunch and taxi if necessary. BIKE LOCK: Do not leave your bicycle unlocked at any time. Please bring your own bicycle lock. HELMET: Please be advised that you are required to wear a helmet to ride with our group.
