Singles are always welcome at Fish & Bear, but this event is specifically for single people. **The focus is on developing friendships at an event where being single is the norm.** We are starting this because some of our attendees said they came to us to be social and meet new people. They’d often spent time on dating apps, thinking that a romantic relationship would fulfill this need, but had found that approach lacking. And yet, especially on social media, we have reduced storytelling to story-selling and mostly share opinions rather than real-life experiences. Our events are simple, timed, unprepared story prompts that help everyone who listens connect to our unique and yet relatable experiences. Often, the stories told are intensely funny, sometimes emotional, but always interesting. Due to varied dietary needs and food contact issues, it's better if you bring what you like and prep it when you want it. The only specialized gear you need is Tent, Sleeping bag, Sleeping Pad (yoga mat).
