THANKSGIVING IN MAURITIUS & SEYCHELLES

Initially, we were going to Seychelles only, and that alone would have been phenomenal, but since it’s a long flight and we will be in the Western Indian Ocean, I decided to make this a legendary trip: we are going to start with Mauritius, which is easier to get to, and then go to Seychelles afterward. It will be a little longer than our usual one-week Thanksgiving trips (and you can keep it to one week if you need to), but it will be 1000% worth it! Death Valley is also a hiker’s paradise with an eclectic mix of slot canyons, salt flats, sand dunes, mountain overlooks, and colorful rock formations. All atheist adventures include a pre-planned multi-day group sightseeing itinerary that includes some of the parks more iconic hikes and landmarks. Trip to the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts

Hi everyone! It’s been a minute since our last museum trip- and I’d love to get back into it with a trip to the long awaited Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts, which will be opening in LA on September 22- In addition to the amazing architectural feat that this museum is, the inside tells a story of Lucas’ journey through storytelling and the creation of Star Wars and its universe, in addition to featuring work from other prominent storytellers. Saturday in the Santa Monica Mountains 2026 #6 - Verdugo Peak

Hike #6 in the 2026 Saturday in the Santa Monica Mountains series, is a strenuous 11 mile, 2800 gain hike in the Verdugo Mountains. The trail starts with a challenging steep ascent to Mount Thom and then mellows out along the ridge with panoramic views of the city. We'll take Verdugo Motorway past Tongva Peak to brunch at Verdugo Peak with a relaxed descent down Brand Motorway. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a good attitude. Hiking poles and footwear with good traction are recommended as some portions of the trail are covered in scree. Rain, excessive heat, and Red Flag alert cancels. This is a Front Country hike. A medical form is recommended, but not required. If you have one, please carry it with you. Copies of the form will be available to fill out at the trailhead as well. Outing to be conducted to Sierra Club hike safety guidelines, group to hike together with participants following the leader and in front of the sweep.
