Come out for a beach walk on Saturday in this gorgeous weather! And, if we’re lucky, we might get a few raindrops on the way! **😌PLEASE make sure to READ the instructions where to find parking and where to meet in the body of the text!🙌** **We start the walk on the sand by lifeguard tower 44** in Playa del Rey, then continue straight towards Balloona Creek and the Jetty, where the path is paved all the way to Fisherman’s Village in MDR. **The walk is flat for the most part.** The only hill to climb will be to get down and up from the beach and get to and from your car. **P distance is about 4.5 miles** **It takes about 40 minutes to walk each way.** **So here’s the attentive agenda:** 🌤️10:15 meet and greet at tower 44 🙌10:30 start the walk. 🎉11:15 reach Fisherman’s Village and have a smoothie, ice cream, a drink or a quick bite to eat and refresh- 🚶‍♀️Stroll and watch the boats and shops. Or just take a break! 😄11:45 Regroup and continue our walk back to tower 44 in PDR. 🏊‍♀️12:30pm Have a dip in the ocean! What can be better after a walk in the blazing sun!? Optional of course! And, of course anyone who wants to hang out at the beach after this or go for lunch can do so!🏝️☀️🌊🥣 I set the end time to 1pm- Just to have an end time!…. But you may stay longer or shorter. Each and everyone can see what they feel like at this point!🤗 I think it’s going to be an awesome day- And, Btw, The water is so warm and nice now! **What to bring:** First, pack lightly! And, bring a towel, swim suit, water to drink, snack/money to buy snack, sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen or what you usually feel you need in the sun. Remember to wear good walking shoes/sneakers that you have worn at least a few times. + An awesome attitude! **PARKING:** **Here is a landmark address. (It’s a residential address, So you have something to plug into your GPS.)** **127 Napoleon Street, Playa del Rey.** Find parking around Waterview or Napoleon. Waterview runs from East to West, Then Splits into two streets: Napoleon and Waterview. These streets run parallel down to Vista Del Mar, Which is the big street that runs along the ocean. Park where you can close to Waterview/Vista Del Mar or Napoleon/Vista Del Mar. **Exactly where to meet:** **When you have parked close to Napoleon or Waterview-** **Walk straight p the street until you hit Vista Del Mar.** **You will see the ocean in front of you.** **From Napoleon:** **Make a right on Vista Del Mar, walk about 100 yards to the stop light and cross walk.** **Cross Vista Del Mar, and walk down the walkway that’s on your left.** **Tower 44 is the closest guard tower.** **It’s slightly to the right (=North, towards Santa Monica)** **From Waterview:** **Continue straight to the bottom of Waterview, the stop light and cross walk in the intersection.** **Cross Vista Del Mar, and walk down the walkway that’s on your left.** **Tower 44 is the closest guard tower.** **It’s slightly to the right (=North, towards Santa Monica)**
