We're meeting at around 16h30 to catch the train together, will post exact details on the WhatsApp group. The ride is very short and we'll all get to spend the afternoon together at the beach. Feel free to bring a sandwitch or some snacks to share. We can get drinks at the chiringuito until 8pm and will come back to Barcelona with one of the last trains. Expect to be back around 22h30. Walk & Talk at Castelldefels / Gava Mar Beach Line

**There will be NO HOST for this and the coming events. I simply step up to be a host so this group doesn't disappear.** Meet new people and practice your spoken English during a walk through a continuous Castelldefels / Gava Mar beach line. Nobody is required to talk but can instead enjoy the sea views while walking in a friendly company. Conscious silence is also respected and the group "noise level" will usually self-tune to the adequate atmosphere, depending on the participants mood and energy. The meeting point is https://maps.app.goo.gl/iUYc3nRkPBcNuw3u8 - a sculpture "Give and Receive" at the entrance to the beach and its pedestrian walkway which we will walk through. It's 1 minute from the train station "Platja De Castelldefels" which commutes Barcelona and Sitges. During the activity, we’ll also have time to stop for a swim and enjoy some snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. After the kayak, we’ll have some free time to relax, change clothes, eat something or enjoy the beach at our own rhythm. Later, we’ll continue the day with an easy hike along a section of the Camí de Ronda, one of the most beautiful coastal paths of the Costa Brava. We’ll enjoy sea views, pass through tunnels carved into the rock, discover small coves and if we have time, reach the Torre Colomina, an old coastal defense tower built in the 15th century to protect the area from pirate attacks. And during the hike, if you prefer to slow down and just relax on the beach, that’s totally fine too. One of the highlights of the kayak route is the Cova del Castellar, a hidden gem that will surprise you with its natural beauty and impressive rock formations. During the kayak activity, the guide will share some insights about the coastline and the marine life of the area, so we can enjoy the place not only as an adventure, but also as a small discovery of this unique wild Mediterranean environment. After the kayak, we’ll continue with an easy coastal hike to enjoy the landscape from land, find a nice spot for picnic and spend some relaxed time by the beach. Después del kayak, seguiremos con una ruta fácil de senderismo por la costa para disfrutar del paisaje desde tierra, buscar un buen sitio para comer nuestro picnic y pasar un rato tranquilo cerca de la playa. El plan habitual es hacer primero el kayak y después el senderismo, pero según el estado del mar y la previsión meteorológica, podemos cambiar el orden para que la actividad sea más segura y agradable.
