Evening Walk at Treptower Park – After Work Pilgrims

Evening Walk at Treptower Park – After Work Pilgrims

Wed, Jul 22, 4:00 PM
From Berlin Pilgrims
4.9

**After Work Pilgrims: Walk with intention.** Berlin is demanding, and the day was long. And somewhere between finishing work and the night, there's a moment where we just need to breathe. That's what After Work Pilgrims is for. We walk together through the city – through parks in the middle of all the concrete – with intention. Just a few kilometres on foot: with silence, a short reflection, and good company. It's more than a walk. But it doesn't feel like it. Duration: approx\. 2 hours \| Distance: 4–7 km \| Free No experience needed. Comfortable shoes recommended. Come as you are. *** 📅 Wed, July 22, 6:00 PM 📍 Treptower Park (Meeting point: Fahrradständer am S-Bahnhof Treptower Park, [https://maps.app.goo.gl/geKw4mAfefppZAcC8](https://maps.app.goo.gl/geKw4mAfefppZAcC8)) 📩 You’re welcome to join our [WhatsApp group](https://www.alexander-steinfeldt.de/hikes/berlin-pilgrims/) for updates and connection before the hike. 🧭 Pilgrim Guide Alex (Mail alexander.steinfeldt@outlook.com or WhatsApp +49 157 57652601) \-\-\- **Waitlist = You're in! 😊** Currently, only 10 members can officially register on Meetup (due to the restrictions of the free version). Walk of Shame

Walk of Shame

Sun, Jul 12, 8:30 AM
From Walk of Shame Berlin

## **Walking is cathartic and so is talking.** ## **If you're interested in personal development, growing your emotional intelligence and overcoming inner obstacles in a safe and empowering space, this group is for you.** ## **Come join us and let's grow together.** I originally created this group 3 years ago and the group grew to over 300 people. I decided to let that group go, and start over. Welcome to the Walk of Shame 2.0 If you've joined events previously then the format will remain similar for our walks. And I hope to add a variety of other events to the mix. **This event is supposed to be a fun way to meet new people whilst walking and talking on the topic of shame or other tricky emotions.** Sometimes it’s easier to tell a stranger something we are ashamed about, instead of someone we know. This is a no-judgment space open to all. I ask you to come with an open mind and heart and a willingness to share of yourself and hold space for other peoples stories. **We’ll meet at the front of Schloss Charlottenburg on Sunday 12th July at 10.30am. I'll be holding a Swedish flag.** **English and German language are both welcome. I host in English** **What to Expect** **This event is an entirely FREE experience.** **The intention for this event is for you to practice talking about the topics you feel are taboo, get over your shyness, and/or things that happened in your life that you feel ashamed about.** Shame holds a power over you when you don’t speak it and feel it. It stops you from being able to be your true self. We’ll spend about 1-1,5 hours together walking through the beautiful gardens of Schloss Charlottenburg and weather permitting we’ll also find a nice spot to sit and do a circle sharing and some embodiment practices. **If you already feel a little embarrassed about the idea of sharing then this is DEFINITELY for you.** I’ve learnt that sharing of those taboo and shameful topics actually makes you realise that you were the only one making them a big thing. When you tell it, people respect and admire that you dared to share or that you overcame something difficult. People think you are brave and resilient. This forms real connection and cuts through the superficial bull-shit we all feel we have to aspire to. **I’ll break the ice by sharing something I feel shame about and then we’ll pair up as we walk. There is no strict agenda, but I’ll instigate a few partner changes to encourage some getting out of your comfort zone.** **What to Bring** Perhaps a small blanket to sit on and your morning drink of choice. But really nothing other than yourself. If the weather permits I’d like us to find a nice spot to sit together and do a group sharing. (This is where you’ll need the blanket) **About the Organiser** Hi I’m Kim! I’m a fun, open and energetic Swede who grew up in England and landed in Berlin 18 years ago. After a 20+ year career in design I realised I could not suppress my calling to work with people on a deeper more spiritual level. I have since retrained as a Transformative Life Coach and Emotional Release facilitator and now work predominantly in this field. I take a very holistic approach to life and my work and hope that my own stories and candidness may inspire others to overcome their limiting ‘stories’ too. Other than my 1:1 work I love to host talks, speak at events, host spiritual and lifestyle workshops and connect with people on a deeper level. On a final note, beyond my career change these last years I also left an unhappy marriage after 14 years, (as a mother a very difficult decision) healed my chronic pain and many other niggling health problems because I finally understood the emotional component and psychosomatic connection of mind and body. Following some catalyst moments in 2019 I decided to re-imagine my life. And have been working towards that dream life ever since. You can find me on insta @KimTalks__
