**✨ Summer Evening Walk & Social ✨** **Come and join us for a lovely summer evening of walking, chatting and connecting with like-minded women.** **We’ll meet outside Fuse Coffee in Ealing at 3.50pm before heading off st 4pm on a guided walk to and around Pitshanger Park, finishing with a pub social in The Rose & Crown garden from 6–7pm.** **Walk With Virginia has been bringing women together since 2022, and what started as a walking group has grown into a genuine community. Many of our members have formed lasting friendships, enjoy regular socials together and love welcoming new faces to the group.** **Whether you’re looking to get some exercise, meet new people, expand your social circle, grow your network, enjoy the outdoors or simply take some time for yourself, you’ll be warmly welcomed. Many women come on their own, so don’t worry if you’re joining for the first time.** **Your £10 ticket includes a guided and insured group walk, plus a reserved space with the group at our post-walk social. Come on this 7 mile spectacular woodland walk in Ashdown Forest exploring the haunts of A A Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh and his much loved friends - discover the bridge where Pooh played Pooh sticks ! You may wish to travel light and book a hotel for Wednesday night and then do Tunbridge Wells circular walk on Thursday. Please come to the main ticket office by 10.20am to facilitate the purchase of group train return tickets for the 10.54am train that arrives at Tunbridge Wells at 11.40am followed by 291 bus at 11.54am that arrives at Bear Inn pub in Hartfield at 12.18pm. Train ticket : Return to Tunbridge Wells Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer. Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc as well as waterproof jacket and walking shoes/trainers. If it is a hot day in prospect also bring sunhat, suncream and sunglasses. You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity. We shall have a drink in the pub or have tea in the Pooh Cafe before making our way back on the 291 bus at 5.06pm then the train from Tunbridge Wells arriving back in London at 6.37pm. Dappled sunlight, leafy canopies, quiet ponds, and long winding trails create a rhythm of their own. Starting from The Monument a most wonderful 4 mile walk starting at 6.45pm by walking on the north side of the Thames before crossing Millennium Bridge, walking by Tate Modern then along the lovely scenic South Bank passing The Wheel in Westminster until we cross The Thames at Lambeth Bridge to finish by Tate Britain. Have you ever wanted to partake in hikes where you get exposed to new areas with luscious forms of nature, some amazing views and possibly some hidden gems? If so, this may be the right event for you. Welcome to another Hiking event where all of this is possible. This is the opportunity to form friendships, discover a different perspective of London, improve your fitness, embrace nature but also feel great about yourself. With this particular Hike, we’ll be hiking from South Kenton to Hendon Central. We’ll be traversing through Fryent country park and past the Welsh Harp Reservoir but also make new discoveries too. This is also part of the capital ring which is a 78 mile pathway split into 15 hiking routes. This is section 10. If you want to be part of the journey, feel free to join us. Disclaimers: Please be on your best behaviour and respect one another. This group doesn’t tolerate any misbehaviour and misconduct. Should such a thing take place, you will be removed. If you ask a question that either already has the answer to it or doesn’t relate to the event at all, I won’t respond. Whenever an event takes place, I will cut off contact 20 minutes after the event commences. If you message even 1 minute after the cut off time, I won’t be available as I’m conducting the event. There will be photography and videography by myself so if you are photo conscious and/or do not want to be in the video, do kindly inform me and I’ll try my utmost best to not involve you in the picture.
