TownFlame Reunion -- Ferry trip to Angel Island

TownFlame Reunion -- Ferry trip to Angel Island

Sat, Aug 29, 4:45 PM
From Growth Social Volunteering Professionals
4.8

Returning **alumni** only — this is intentionally capped as a reunion for people who have joined our previous events. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- From our first SF event -- Pillow Fight in Embarcadero on Valentine's Day, it has been half a year already. We have been growing from a small meetup of about 200 people to current size, we have walked many cultural parades and festivals, and volunteered in many of them, **left our footprints** across town, from Chinese New Year to Carnaval, from Embarcadero to Stern Grove. For the coming next half year, we expect to **start more localized regular programs**, the Golden Hour walks, the Volunteer Parties, and at least one more format we are experimenting, and cross region activities as well. So people can meet each other more often, from different angles of life, familiarity and shared purpose birth relations. So does our team, we expect to expand, on top of our current volunteer base. We have seen a lot of **warm hearted** people from our events, so we plan to grow our team, have more people involved, and do a builders' social internally. This is supposed to be a more **intense and tighter** version of the participant social we are having now. More regular gatherings, doing things together, team retreats etc, out of **shared mission,** on top of already established connections. Time to reconnect again, pick up the topics you left in the group outing last time, refresh some familiar faces, and make some new plans. **Peek over the event and time lane**, find new opportunities. This is your chance, on the beautiful Angel Island, in the center of the bay. So the reunion would be done via a ferry trip to Angel Island, from the Ferry Building, on the last Sat of this month, right **before** the Labor Day long weekend. More details will be sent to our WhatsApp group. This is supposed to be a closed event, for our returning alumni and their friends only. We will mostly do a Partiful invite. If you are not in the WhatsApp group, let us know. We will update you. Location: Ferry Building, Gate B **Join [TownFlame](http://www.townflame.org/), Make Life Happen.** **Liability Waiver:** Participation in TownFlame events is voluntary and involves social interaction in public spaces. Activities are designed to be inclusive and respectful. Participants assume all risks and release TownFlame, its organizers, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, or damages, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. By attending, participants acknowledge that photographs, audio, and video recordings may be taken during events, and grant TownFlame the right to use such media for promotional and marketing purposes, in any format or platform, without further consent or compensation.

# Tired of dating apps culture and surface-level? This is different. And people often leave surprised by how quickly strangers can feel human, warm, honest, and real again. Free to RSVP, 👉 $59 to confirm your spot [https://consciousconnectionsclub.com/stayconnected](https://consciousconnectionsclub.com/join) Relational Labs is a guided connection experience for singles who want more honest, playful, emotionally intelligent interaction — without performance, pressure, or endless small talk. This is not speed dating. Not networking. Not “pitch yourself to strangers.” It’s a facilitated relational container rooted in psychology, emotional intelligence, attachment work, social dynamics, nervous system awareness, and real-world human connection — made practical enough that you can actually live it instead of reading another 50 books about it. ## What happens • A 2-hour guided online relational experience • Real-time connection exercises designed to create authentic interaction • A format that adapts in real time to whoever is present • Optional participant-led in-person continuation afterward • WhatsApp connection thread after the session ## This may be for you if: • You’re tired of shallow or repetitive social spaces • You want deeper connection without forced intimacy • You enjoy personal growth, psychology, communication, or relational work • You’re open to meeting people in a more intentional way ## Important This experience runs with whoever is present and takes its own shape each time. Sometimes expansive. Sometimes intimate. Both are the real thing.
