Join us for a fun afternoon picnic this bank holiday - with tasty snacks and great conversations! 🌳 **Where to Find Us - 集合場所** We’ll be gathering in our usual spot, under the Shakespeare Oak at Primrose Hill. **What to Bring - 持ち物** To make this a fun communal vibe, we reccomend bringing a snack or drink to share. While any food is welcome, it would be great to see some Korean or Japanese inspired treats! If you can bring a picnic blanket, or anything else that might be useful at a picnic, that would be really helpful. Unfortunately BBQ's are not allowed in the park. **Who Can Join? - 参加できる方** Everyone interested in Korean or Japanese culture is welcome - no need to speak either language. This will be a joint event with the Korean Culture Meetup. Our events have a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. There's usually a mix of newcomers and regulars who will make you feel welcome. 🌤 **Weather- 天** Fingers crossed for good weather, but if it rains heavily we'll move to a pub nearby. I'll leave a comment here if we decide to move. Let’s leave no litter behind, and create some great memories together.

Are you **LGBTQIA+** and a **Person of Colour?** Do you want to meet others of similar backgrounds, in a relaxed and welcoming space? Look no further! During our QTIPOC-nic earlier in the month, the consensus was more outdoor events and more food! Join Tash and Aaron for a trip to Kingston's **Taste of the Caribbean Festival.** Described as "*Europe's largest food and drink festival dedicated to Caribbean food" ,* this is one not to miss! There will be lots of food and drinks to try, live reggae music, funfair rides, celebrity chef demos and a community bake off. Lots to choose from! We shall be meeting at the festival entrance at 1pm, where we shall enter together. Please be punctual, so we can enter as a group. Please note this event is ticketed. You can purchase a ticket here for £15 (Standard). Children go free (but must be accompanied by an adult). This event is family friendly. If costs are prohibitive , please let the hosts know. [https://tasteofcaribbeanuk.com/product/kingston/](https://tasteofcaribbeanuk.com/product/kingston/) **ACCESS INFORMATION:** [https://tasteofcaribbeanuk.com/accessibility/](ACCESS) The event states there will be an accessible toilet, free water refills and event staff on hand to help, including medical and security staff. This is an outdoor event in a park, so grass and pavement may be uneven. Food and drink including water can't be brought in with you. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see for local LGBTQ+ People of Colour, we will be more than happy to hear your suggestions. At each event, we discuss venues for upcoming socials, so please bring suggestions for us to vote on. **Nervous about not knowing anyone?** Try not to be! You will soon be smiling and feeling more connected to community. We do exist!
