Photography Exhibition, Book Launch & Creative Evening

Join us on September 2 from 6–10 PM in Glendale for a photography exhibition, book launch, wine, light bites, and an evening of creativity and connection. Explore 50 photographs across four collections: sunsets, ocean, black and white, and travel, and celebrate the launch of my first book, “I Found My Ikigai. It’s Photography. What’s Yours?”. The book combines photography with short reflections on fear, confidence, change, and finding the courage to begin. There will also be a Letter to Your Future Self corner and space to connect with local creatives and new people. Whether you’re a photographer, writer, artist, or simply looking for inspiration and community, you’re welcome here. Admission is free. **The Collab Art Salon and Creative Networking Party for August was awesome!** So much good stuff, so we're going to do what any sane, unpaid, volunteer event organizers would do, and work hard to make September even better! We've got a plan for an event focusing on the creative sensations of... **Touch. Scent. Taste. Emotion.** ... and you are going to help us make it AMAZING! **What is Happening This Month at Collab?** We are putting together an awesome line up of speakers, sound artists, DJs, musicians, technicians and more. We've already got a few great guests, but now we're ready to add YOU! Drinks by Design: An Evening at the Getty - SOLD OUT

**[Pirros](https://www.pirros.com/)**, in partnership with **[AIA Los Angeles](https://www.aialosangeles.org/)**, invites attendees to a special evening at the Getty Center, one of Los Angeles's most iconic works of architecture and a fitting backdrop for an evening built around design. ​The program will feature a private architectural tour of the Getty Center, led by Getty's campus architect Naomi Neville, and a glimpse at Getty's upcoming modernization efforts planned for next year. Perched atop a 110-acre hillside, the campus offers sweeping views across Los Angeles, from the Pacific Ocean to the San Gabriel Mountains, and remains one of the city's most studied examples of modern architecture. ​The evening will close with a hosted cocktail reception at The Getty's Trellis Bar, the perfect opportunity to connect with other locals in the industry while taking in the sunset over the city.
