Entertainment Industry Network Event/Gifted ARTists
Sun, Sep 20, 10:00 PMJoin us for our monthly in-person entertainment industry meet-up in Los Angeles, where the people you need to meet are in the room. This event is designed for cinematographers, photographers, actors, and singers who are ready to stop chasing opportunities and start building real connections that lead to work, visibility, and growth. If you’re a cinematographer or photographer, this is your chance to meet venue owners, talent buyers, and industry decision-makers who are actively looking for visual talent. If you’re an actor or singer, this is where you can connect with the people who book talent, create opportunities, and help you get seen by the right audience. We bring together the exact people who can help solve the biggest pain point in this industry: access. This is more than a social event. It’s a room full of possibilities, where your next booking, collaboration, or introduction could happen through one conversation. Come ready with your business cards, your portfolio, your reel, your headshots, and your confidence. Bring your A-game, because the people who can move your career forward will be there. Our goal is simple: to create a space where talent meets opportunity. Whether you’re looking to get booked, build your brand, find creative partners, or connect with venue owners and talent buyers, this event is built for you. Who should attend? Cinematographers looking for paid shoots and industry connections. Photographers wanting to connect with venues, artists, and talent buyers. Actors seeking casting opportunities and professional visibility. Singers ready to perform, network, and get booked. Industry professionals who want to build meaningful relationships and expand their reach. What you’ll get? Direct access to industry professionals and decision-makers. Real networking with people who can help move your career forward. Opportunities to build relationships that can lead to bookings and collaborations. A welcoming, high-energy environment made for creative professionals. Come out, make the connection, and put yourself in the right room. This is where opportunity meets preparation.

BREATH-STRING An Intimate Evening of Violin & Guitar
Wed, Aug 19, 2:00 AM***What if,*** ***the universe begins as vibration?*** Dear Friends in Art, In string theory, the fundamental constituents of reality are imagined as tiny vibrating strings, with different modes of vibration giving rise to different particles and forms of matter. On Tuesday, August 18, a poco art invites you to *Breath-String*, an intimate evening of violin and guitar with **Taro Wayama** and **David Lee Ruest.** Two stringed instruments move across centuries of music. The program travels from Telemann, Fiocco, Massenet, and Monti to John Williams, Astor Piazzolla, and original compositions by Taro Wayama. Vibration passes from string to air, from body to body, and into the space around us, entering into dialogue with works by **Tia Xia** and **Nancy Ivanhoe** throughout the exhibition space. Perhaps music is one of the simplest ways to experience an idea that string theory proposes: that different forms may *emerge* from different modes of vibration, and that a shift in frequency can give rise to an entirely different world. ***BREATH-STRING*** An Intimate Evening of Violin & Guitar **Taro Wayama + David Lee Ruest** Presented by a poco art **Tuesday, August 18, 2026** 7 PM — Doors Open + Wine Reception 7:30–8:30 PM — Concert 9 PM — Evening concludes **a poco art** Address: [4505 S Slauson Ave #317, Culver City, CA 90230](https://share.google/uWd7uUgdDguSV73w2) (Gate code #5054) Parking: limited street parking; North Gate Market parking lot within 8min walk **Tickets: $20 per person; limited to 20 guests** **Wine, beverages, and light snacks included** Advance tickets are strongly recommended due to limited capacity: [https://partiful.com/e/M45orQxS98ZoqiENGRxF?c=AvQU-z2J](https://partiful.com/e/M45orQxS98ZoqiENGRxF?c=AvQU-z2J) (Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but entry cannot be guaranteed.)
