Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - summer edition

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. Bouldering Session

Have you always wanted to learn bouldering but never had the right company? Or are you an experienced boulderer who just wants to find boulder-buddies? If yes, this is the right event for you. We are going to meet inside "urban apes Basement Boulderstudio", close to S Anhalter Bahnhof, also not far from Potsdamer Platz. If you have never been there, you will need to sign up with them, which will take a bit of time. After that, **you can find us on the couches near the lockers (not in front of the reception), next to a red smiley**. When you enter the actual gym, enter the hall by turning left immediately - you are walking towards them. We will start warming up around 11:10, so everyone has enough time to arrive and get changed before that. ***\*\*\**** *Spots are limited, so please update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you won't be joining. **NO-SHOWs ARE NOT COOL \*\*\**** We enter the gym at 11:00, if you are late, you will need to look for us inside. IMPORTANT: they only accept cards as a payment method. No cash. The Havelhöhenweg runs along the edge of the Grunewald forest above the banks of the Havel River and passes, among other landmarks, Lieper Bucht and the Grundwald Tower. The trail has only gentle ups and downs, though there are a few steps and some well-trodden paths to navigate in certain spots. For much of the way, the trees provide enough shade to enjoy the hike even on a hot day. We’ll be rewarded with stunning views, numerous spots for swimming, various sights, and opportunities to grab a snack, a coffee, or a cold drink. The hike begins at the Nikolassee train station. At the Grunewald Tower, we’ll turn into the forest and continue to Teufelssee. There, at the Ökowerk, you’ll have the chance to stop for a final refreshment. It's completely optional and suitable for everyone—no previous meditation experience is needed. Whether you choose to join the meditation, relax by the lake, enjoy your lunch, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings, the choice is yours. **💛** ## What to expect This isn't a race—it's a relaxed social hike where we can enjoy nature, meet new people, have meaningful conversations, and spend a refreshing day outdoors together. Wir erkunden das Hier und Jetzt in der Natur, werden uns unserer Emotionen, unseres Körpers und unseres Denkens bewusst. Wir wenden uns nach innen und entdecken die Kraft des jetzigen Augenblicks. Wir üben, uns selbst genug zu sein und finden vielleicht unsere innere Kraft zurück, um mit mehr Wahlmöglichkeiten, Freiheit und Frieden in die Welt hinauszugehen! Für die Teilnahme sind keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich. Es empfiehlt sich, vor dem Treffen etwas zu trinken und je nach Bedarf eine kleine Flasche Wasser mitzubringen.
