Dear members, For those who live in the St George area or who are willing to travel down, we are opening another language exchange event on Wednesday at the beautiful Rocksia Hotel, https://rocksiahotel.com.au/ (3 min walking from the Banksia station), which is a laid-back place with modern décor and contemporary furnishings throughout. Boasting two separate kitchens – the bistro and Lola’s Kitchen, they have happy hour between 4 pm and 6 pm every weekday. So arrive a little early to get a happy hour drink to start the night. If you feel like practicing Spanish or English, or just want to broaden your personal network over a few drinks, this would be a perfect place to do so, meet new friends, and hang out in a relaxed and casual environment. Hope many of you can make it! **Note**: We ask that members please make a gold coin donation on the night. This goes towards paying for the meetup subscription. We thank members in advance for their support.

ELS HALL PARK, 109 KENT ROAD (free parking on-site). **RSVPing Notes:** **1\. If you change your attendee status\, please do so by 9pm on the night PRIOR the event\. This will allow waitisters time to amend their commitments and attend\. Failure to do so without good reason will be regarded as a Late Withdrawal\.** **2\. I will monitor "No Shows" and "Late Withdrawals" and I will act upon repeat offenders\.** **3\. Waitlisters will not be accepted to play\.** *** **SAFETY NOTE 1:** **This is a reminder to implement correct ball etiquette for our multi-use courts: when your ball rolls onto another court, DO NOT chase after it.** **Call “ball” and the next player to serve on your court puts their paddle in the air to indicate who the ball should be passed to.** **The court which has received the ball stops playing immediately, the ball is picked up and passed THROUGH THE AIR to whoever is the server needing the ball. Their point is replayed.** **Do not swipe the ball off the court, or roll it on the ground and please ask who the server is. This speeds up the game for both courts and improves safety issues.** **SAFETY NOTE 2:** **When going to and from courts please egress via the perimeter of the venue NOT BETWEEN COURTS. Ensure play has stopped on the courts you are passing and if possible egress as a group, rather than independently, hence minimising the delay caused upon the court you are passing.** **Thanks for your cooperation.** For any queries please message Les via Meetup or add a comment on this event.
