Expect: 🌲 Snow-covered boreal forests 🏔️ Arctic fells ❄️ Open winter landscapes 🦌 Possible reindeer sightings 🏘️ Remote Arctic communities Arrive in **Karigasniemi**, settle into the accommodation and enjoy the Arctic atmosphere. Weather permitting, head out for another evening of Northern Lights hunting. **Overnight: Karigasniemi** **🇳🇴 DAY 4 - OPTIONAL RUSSIAN BORDER EXPERIENCE + ARCTIC FRONTIER** This is the day reserved for our optional **Norway–Russia Border Add-On**, subject to final logistics and operating conditions. **🥾 OPTIONAL — €150 PER PERSON** For participants who select the add-on, we travel towards the **Kirkenes / Sør-Varanger border region** for a guided experience along the Norwegian–Russian frontier. The currently advertised hike lasts approximately **3 hours** and takes participants through birch forest and open tundra towards official border markers. **Rescheduled**!!! 🚲 **Lento to Potsdam — Bikes & Cheesecake** Fall is here, and the forests are beautiful! A little escape from Berlin! We'll meet at Brandenburger Tor around 9 AM and ride to Potsdam, taking the scenic route and stopping for lunch and a snack along the way. Once in Potsdam, there's a very good cheesecake spot waiting for us. Priorities, obviously. 🍰 For the way back, you've got two options: take the train back to Berlin or ride the full route back by bike. I'll probably cycle back, so feel free to join if you're up for the extra kilometres. As always with Lento, the route isn't set in stone. If you have any ideas, suggestions or feedback, they're more than welcome. This is a group ride, so let's shape it together! No racing, no pressure — just bikes, good company and cake. Haiku & Mindfulness in a cemetery – a unique autumn experience 🍁🍂🪦

Autumn is a season of transition from the lightness and fullness of summer towards a darker and more austere winter. Like the leaves that fall from a tree, it offers us the opportunity to let go and make space for new growth - when the time is right. During this event, we will take a silent mindful walk in the quiet and peaceful surroundings of a cemetery in Berlin-Kreuzberg. We’ll spend time observing the autumn light and falling leaves of the natural world. We’ll reflect on the significance of themes such as impermanence, letting go, remembrance and passing away. And we’ll have the chance to share our experience by writing our own haiku (basic instruction will be provided). **What you can expect** - ​🐌 Take a pause from the busyness of everyday life and join us for a relaxing and meaningful session of haiku writing and mindfulness in the inspiring grounds of a beautiful garden cemetery. ​🌳 This event is for anyone who would like to slow down, connect with nature, spark their creativity, and reflect more deeply on life. Whether you're a seasoned writer, a complete beginner, or simply curious to try something new, you are warmly welcome. ​😌 Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with openness and curiosity. By tuning into our surroundings, sensations, and thoughts, we can reduce stress, improve focus, and cultivate greater wellbeing. ​📝 A haiku is a 3-line poem that captures a moment of observation or insight, often inspired by nature. Its simplicity encourages us to notice small details that we might otherwise overlook. ​🤝 Haiku writing and mindfulness complement each other beautifully. Both invite us to slow down, observe carefully, and appreciate the world around us. Through mindful attention, we discover images, sounds, and experiences that can be transformed into vivid, meaningful poems. ​**No prior experience in mindfulness or poetry is needed**. The emphasis is on exploration, enjoyment, and curiosity rather than getting things "right." ​ ​🙋🏻‍♂️ **About Me** ​I’m a coach specialising in emotional intelligence. Mindfulness has changed my life so much so that I’m currently training to become a teacher. I also dabble in poetry. Last year, I set myself a challenge to write 100 haikus in 100 days. We may find a small area in the cemetery to sit down. Alternatively, we can write our haiku in a café on the grounds.
