**NOTE:** This event is posted on multiple Meetup groups. **ABOUT:** Explore a fascinating mini-museum, leading commercial art galleries and experimental creatives spaces in Chippendale and Redfern on Saturday, June 27. This walk is beginner-friendly, and all are welcome - whether you've engaged with art before or not. Exchange numbers and make new friends as you listen to interesting stories of Australian and international artists... **MEETING TIME:** 11:00 – 11:10 AM. **MEETING POINT:** Meet outside "Cotti Coffee", 104 Eveleigh St, Redfern NSW 2016 (3 min from Redfern station). **START AND PROGRAMME:** We will begin at 11:10 AM - first exploring Chippendale, later Redfern. Midway, we will take a short break. **END:** We will end by 2:15 PM. Easy walk back to the Redfern station. You may also wait for drinks and snacks and more chatting with group members, if interested. **PRICE OF TOUR:** Please pay $20 by cash on arrival. $10🌊🎨 "Art, Exercise & the Sea”: Exploring Woollahra + Bondi 🤝🚶🏻‍♀️

**NOTE:** This event is posted on multiple Meetup groups. **ABOUT:** Enjoy a unique tour of Woollahra and Bondi that brings together fitness, culture and the beach on Saturday, July 11. Walk a substantial distance across the two neighbourhoods and explore amazing art galleries – exhibiting paintings, photography, sculptures, installations. Listen to interesting stories, interact with the staff. Bonus: some gorgeous boutiques and heritage homes on the route. All welcome – those familiar with art or completely new to it. Come whatever your background – tech, finance, retail, healthcare, etc. Exchange names and numbers, make new friends, and have fun! **MEETING TIME:** 11:15 – 11:25 AM. **MEETING POINT:** Outside “Westfield Shopping Centre” (500 Oxford St, Bondi Junction NSW 2022) entry/exit at the corner of Grosvenor St & Oxford St, opposite "Kathmandu" shop. Drawing II / Course for intermediate drawing skills

WE HAVE ONLY THREE PLACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS COURSE DRAW II . Urban Landscapes This is a seven week course focussed on an urban landscape on Sydney Harbour. Urban landscapes provide an opportunity to draw structure within the landscape which is a great way for beginner drawing students to segue into landscape and the different drawing approaches for that genre. The first session is spent drawing on-site in a Sydney Harbour location learning how artists make studies that are useful as reference material for works created and developed in the studio. Weeks 2 – 7 in this course are spent in the studio with experienced artist [Carmel Byrne](www.carmelbyrne.com) to help develop ideas and to experiment further with materials and scale in drawing. Students must provide their own materials for this course and we’ll back up in the studio with any materials that will help extend your vocabulary in drawing along with scale and techniques. Saturday Watercolour Session

Events are held in Castlehill RSL Club.

Create beautiful visual artwork

You will be introduced to basic pouring techniques and art-theory. Followed by a demonstration of pouring paint. You get to create your own painting on a 15×20cm canvas. We then discuss how you found the experience and what you will like to try out perhaps for next time. Please note paintings usually take 3 to 4 days to copleately dry, the varnish can be applied to finish them after that to complete the artwork. If you would like to take them home on the day, please bring a tray or cardboard for ease of transportation. Wearing old clothes and sneakers to the workshop are recomended (just in case of paint spilling). Before the workshop You may like to google flow art techiques on utube, for Ideas of techniques you may like to try. Just come along and enjoy the experience and the fun in flow art.
